Breaking: T.I. Sentenced To 11 Months In Jail

Published: Friday 15th Oct 2010 by Sam

So much being a ‘King Uncaged’. Despite only just being released from a previous stint in the slammer, rapper T.I. is heading back to prison after being sentenced today for violating his parole.

Full story below…

Via TMZ:

Rapper T.I. had his probation revoked by a federal judge today and was sentenced to 11 months in prison.

T.I. was busted last month on felony possession of a controlled substance … while he was on probation for a 2009 federal gun possession conviction.

T.I. told the judge he needed help for drug addiction and begged not to be sent back to prison.

We’re told one of the officers from Wednesday’s jumper incident testified on T.I.’s behalf.

He has two weeks to turn himself in.

I guess the last minute  ‘heroic antics’ didn’t do the trick. A mess.

Randomness: How long till the silly “free-T.I” foolishness starts? The man is a criminal, with an addiction. Here’s hoping he straightens up his act and gets the help he needs.

Your thoughts?

I hope people don’t come in here trying to defend him. He’s been to prison twice and this will be his third time. He doesn’t need people to defend his actions, he needs to straighten up. And And for those who are gonna mention her name, I don’t care what Lindsay or anyone else is doing either. We all rooted for his ass and he keeps disappointing us. He needs to go back to jail with his dumb ass.

Yeah, addiction IS a disease, and I do feel bad that he’s struggling with it, but damn, how do you spend one year in jail, get out, and then manage to put yourself back in for ANOTHER year?

He was caught smoking crystal meth in a car, right? How the f*** are you gonna be stupid enough to smoke an illegal substance in a car? What, did he think that there was zero chance of him being stopped by the cops? SMDH.

TI does what many of men or women do once they get out of jail……..revert back to old behavior and dont think about getting caught.

As the old saying goes: You do the crime, you do the time.

BTW TGJ, your slow-ass system is making it impossible for me to post my comments.

I dont feel bad for T.I . He made unwise judgements for his life w/ the people & resources to prevent that. No regard for his family , kids and fans. He claimed he has a problem and rehab instead of jail is what he needs. If he came to that reality before facing another prison term he should have taken the intiative to get himself help–he defintly has the money to do so. I cant pity or defend anyone who does things to seperate him from his kids for long periods at a time. He and Tiny need a reality check cuz Lord knows they are way past the age not to have one!

I find it absolutly amazing how someone can have that much money and not be able to give thier kids the stability that they need…. such a shame. smh. My sympathy remains with the kids and people involved who dont seserve to be.

This is so sad on so many levels. I was rooting for him. I never would have thought in a million years he would be back in jail this soon. After all those interviews especially on Larry King. He promised us he changed. I am huge fan of his and have met him and my heart was broken when he was caught yet again with that Tiny. Another black man down. The white community loves when this happens to us. So they can say that stupid n*****. My prayers are with his family especially his kids….

  18. ~Team Weezy~ October 15, 2010

    That’s it?

He’s one lucky b******. I just feel sorry for his kids (all six of them) because they’re gonna be without a father AGAIN! Smh.

Well, I guess that means I have to wait for his new album. 🙁

*goes and listens to his Urban Legend album*

    Agreed.

  21. Simply Phillip Brown October 16, 2010

At least it’s only 11 months. It will go by quick.

  22. VA STAND UP!! October 16, 2010

    @Chocolate Box: Co-sign 100%

I was really one of those people who thought that he had learned his lesson and had changed, but I guess not. No sympathy for him this time. He did the crime (AGAIN) so he has to do the time! SMH. He was actually lucky to only get 11 months considering he was facing years!

I guess this means his album “King Uncaged’ (how ironic) is gonna get pushed back, not that I was checking for it. *shrugs*

  23. Sarah October 16, 2010

    What about TINY?

  24. Blue Kid October 16, 2010

T.I , just told a man who was about to takes his life, that life was worth living. So with that in mind T.I is a positive person and he will get over this hump in his life and may be some one will be inspired and get their life straight.

  25. X,Y,”and Z” October 16, 2010

    @Sam —

You do know that his “hero antics” won’t be forgotten by his fans, nor that-once-desperate, now-very-much thankful-soul, whose life he saved! Well, he IS an addict. So now, he’ll get the help he needs and when he comes home, and gets ready to drop his CD, I’ll be there, credit card in-hand, ready to support him…!!!

Sam, even your gruff, salty-a** must admit, T.I. (Idris and Chris) were the ones who made ‘Takers’ the #1 (now nearing $60-Million) movie it now is…!! So, T.I. has some…”gift”; some way to connect with folks…!!

    Oh yea, and SAM? ….FREE MUTHA-F*****’ T.I. B****….!!!!

    X,Y,”and Z” — OUT…!!

  26. Blue Kid October 16, 2010

  28. BENJAMIN October 16, 2010

And please don’t give him no wack parole. He didn’t even get a whole year, so let him serve from start to finish, cause if it was Joe down the block, you know he woulda’ got more. I’m sick of this guy.
