It seems Rihanna‘s candy-coloured hair-do is inspiring more than just Shawntae and Mae-Mae in your local hood. Rapper Trina recently revealed a look which was clearly inspired by the Bajan model’s latest gimmick.
As much as we support Trina, she’s increasingly becoming quite synonymous with the term ‘unoriginal’ these days. From the faux-Beyonce steez in ‘That’s My Attitude’ video, to this red do’ – it’s all a bit much. I mean there’s no denying she looks good. Great in fact. However, in such an image-focal industry, her copy and pasting, isn’t a good look.
what the hell is that around her neck? it looks like she’s wearing a bedazzled florescent light bulb. her hard make up gives her a dragish NeNe Leakes look. Major fail, dust yourself off and try again.
she may be copying people but, honestly, she looks way better than Rihanna… it’s not bright and obnoxious like Rihanna’s hair color is. i think it looks nice =]

Trina just tries way too hard! She is and has been for a while very unoriginal. She’s even said in one song, “…Money like Mariah, Rihanna hair-do”
Red hair isn’t for her. Rihanna can pull it off because she has an edgier style and can basically rock anything and make it look better because of her model-esque look. But Trina? Um, no ma’am.
I liked Trina so much better when she was underground, in her Slip N Slide days, her first album, better flow and lyrics. The “Baddest Chick” days, the “Pull Over” days, the ‘You don’t know NANN” days! Now she tries to do more crossover ish with a female singer on the hook (Kelly Rowland, Keyshia Cole, Keri Hilson, etc.). Her flow is HORRIBLE on the slower/mid-tempo songs, not to mention her lyrics have downgraded tremendously!
