I love that Chris is still working with Best Buddies! That shows that he is actually committed to working and volunteering his time with them and that this isn’t PR. It is definitely genuine. <3
And to speak on his ex and why people were questioning her motives, the girl dies and she didn't send any cards or anything, her PR sent a message on her website, for that matter. That is why her motives were questioned. Now if she would have sent a card to the mother or had reached out to her personally, there wouldn't be any motives to question because it would have been obvious that she didn't have any.

Chris has been doing charity work before the situation even happen. Back in 2006 St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital received $50,000 in ticket proceeds from Chris’s 2006 “Up Close & Personal” tour. He was also on good morning America back in 2007 collecting toys for kids around christmas time [Toys For Tots]. He also has his own foundation [Smphonic love] where he raises money for kids tryna make into the entertainment world. Also he has the best buddies charity and he raised 25k for blue cross blue shield and his VA Stand Up concert where he raised money for Hatiti and for his VA community and he doniated food back in Nov. 2009 to a food bank in VA.
People question Rihanna’s motives because when that little girl died Rihanna didn’t send not one card or flowers or didn’t even call the mother of the little girl to send her condolences. She sent a message on her website [not good enough]. Then got the nerve to do a PSA about after the situation had happen. I feel if that situation with Rihanna and that little girls mother didn’t happen she wouldn’t have been doing a PSA in the first. Why wait when the camaras are on to show the world that you are doing charity work.
After the feb 8th situtation when chris was doing charity work people was questioning his motives and saying he was doing it to get back in people good grace when that wasn’t the case.

I’m so proud of him. He’s always been involved with charities, so I’m glad someone is finally giving him recognition for that & not focusing on the negatives for once.

And back in 09 his little Fan Appreciation Tour in the states some profits went to charity. He has had the VA Stand Up concert where he raised 50,000 dollars and split the money up to go to two charities. ALL proceed from the concert went to charity. Thats just to name a few from recently. Usually when people give back it isn’t at their own expense. They don’t dig into their pockets and decide i’m gonna pay to set up a concert so all the proceeds can go to charity. How much work have ya’ll done for charity though? I mean don’t talk about his motives unless you actually are into charity and stuff.

Chris has been both participating in charity events and has held charity benefits since his early days. Rihanna (LAWD knows I am not a fan) has also particpated in charity events. I wouldn’t take that from her. Ppl are suspicious of Rihanna especially now days, because she is so deceitful and generally does “special” things around her release dates. I fully expect a DV charity walk on the same day she releases her flop CD!

I was just wondering whether he was still working with Best Buddies cause I hadn’t heard anything about it recently and now here it is! I’m so proud of him! He has been really busy lately with his career lately from promoting his film, to working on his album, and shooting a sh*t load of videos (some we are still waiting for) so for him to take time out of his busy schedule to give back says a lot.
From the looks of the pics, he had a ball so I am sure it was more like just hanging out and having a good time. It’s crazy cause I am only about an hour from DC and I had no idea this was going on today. I wonder if just anyone can get involved with Best Buddies. Seems like a fun organization to be apart of. Maybe I’ll look in to it.
I really don’t care if anyone (Rih stans) questions his motives cause as a VA native I know for a FACT he has done charity work long before ‘the incident’. He held a toy drive every year in his hometown of Tappahannock and he gave Thanksgiving dinners to poor families as well. Not to mention the VA STAND UP concert that he organized and headlined. All of the proceeds from the concert went to the Greater Richmond Area Foodbank, the Red Cross and the rest went to Haiti Relief Fund.
He definitely has been doing his part to give back to his community here in VA and all over. All the real Breezy fans know that. It doens’t matter whether or not they question his motives, you don’t give back to the community for others approval and admiration. You do it because you can and want to! In other words, who gives a f*ck what a hater has to say! Lol!
