Jay Sean Performs At The 2010 MOBO Awards

Published: Thursday 21st Oct 2010 by Trent

Jay Sean hit the stage at the 2010 MOBO Awards last evening. The Pop sensation performed a medley of his hits including the US 4x platinum ‘Down’ and his new single, ‘2012 (It’s Ain’t The End)’. Peep all the action below:

That was actually a good performance. What was admirable about the setup was that Sean focused on singing the material and left the choreography to his backup dancers. I hope Jason Derulo learns to do the same.

Thoughts?

Rihanna rises 6-4 with “Only Girl (In the World)” on the Billboard Hot 100 (the track’s peak was no. 3). “Only Girl” jumps 11-7 on Radio Songs giving Rihanna her 14th top 10 on that list, tying Beyoncé for the most by a female since 2000. POST IT B******!!!!!!!!

Why does Jay Sean always have that same stupid look on his face?

This guy’s music [his singles, at least] really annoys me. “Down”…smh. Way too much auto-tune and it’s also painfully generic. His music also sounds like I’ve heard it a million times before. The first time I heard his other single (don’t remember the name), I thought it was “Forever” by Chris Brown…

That 2012 song is terribly awful…

  8. MUSIC LOVER October 22, 2010

Honestly, he is underrated and overlooked. If he wants to make it big, he needs to work on his s** appeal some more–start taking his shirt off and be more like Trey in all honesty.

His last 5 singles were superhits so he isnt doing bad.LMAO!
HATERs are everywhere, but i have to accept that there is nothing british in his songs. he is more of an american.

  13. hooper October 22, 2010

Jay seans down was huge in usa. And again he had a top ten do you remember, i guess most of his haters are british.. it is mainly cos he is more indian than british and brits are little sore abt it.

  14. romeo October 22, 2010

true, brits hate the way slowly british asians emerging much like afro-caribbean upsurge like a decade ago..haha.. blacks were hated and not allowed to go up and if u watch the way asian celebs are slated by the same sore lil c****, you feel for them. just look at the hate on amir khan or to a lesser extent jay sean..
