The confirmed date puts the Hip-Hop heavyweight in direct competition with newcomer Nicki Minaj, who releases her debut LP ‘Pink Friday’ a day later (November 23rd).

Punk bish couldn’t digest how Nicki murdered his a** on his own song, so now he’s trying to throw foul at her sales. They share the same fans and this is going to be a tough competition for Nicki. I won’t be purchasing Kanye until months after his release. Team Nicki!

Nicki’s album was’mt gonna be #1 anyway, Rihanna comes out, the BEP and somebody else. Nicki probably won’t sale more than 250k at best. But i think she’ll sale between 200 to 225k. Kanye will probably get #1 one that week, perhaps.
Will probably support both. Looking forward to November, should be a hot month with a lot of new tracks to select from.

DRAKE who has the MOST ANTICIPATED album of the year opened at 450K
That’s going to put Nicki in the 250-350’s at most.
Let’s use common sense here…EVERYONE Was anticipating Drakes release.
Only a certain demographics of people are anticipating Nicki’s release.
By Kanye dropping basically the same day as Nicki it actually might help her sales, as people who probably wouldn’t have gone to the Store that day to buy anything will now be going to pick up Ye’s, see hers and grab it. I see it as a win win situation for Nicki. But this album better be the BEST THING since slice bread (Or “HardCore”) or Its gonna be RED Friday for her.

Even if Kanye dropped on a different date, would it have mattered to Nicki? Kanye has the potential for LONGEVITY to stay on the charts and do big numbers regardless of who he’s up against. Nicki might get strong first-week numbers then fall off HARD (see: Trey Songz). It all depends.

I’m confused why do people keeping makign Rihanna apart of the equation? Doesn’t she drop the week before them? BEP, drops the week after with Cici and Keri. I think the only one that was scheduled to join them was Ne-yo(that might have changed by now). Anyway, Kanye definitely wins hands down! I understand how a few of you Nicki fans must feel, but I do think she’ll benefit even more from all this. It’s good annyway you slice it for her.

Nicki will do well, but Kanye always has a huge first week, He’ll sale really well. Rihanna may come out before them, but even she is not a huge first week album seller.

And like people said watch out for the other genres. Rap isn’t the only thing working but as long as you do good numbers who cares about number 1 or 2. I have seen an album be number one with low sales because nobody was out competing. It’s about the numbers in the end.
Im supporting them both but Nicki is holding it down for female rappers. Ill wait to get kanyes the next week.
