Yeah the video is boring. But the song is actually not that bad, it’s just the key is WAY too high for him! They should have lowered the key or gave the song to a female who wouldn’t sound like they were straining to hit the notes! I like the hair cut though.

this has been my favorite song in the world for like two months straight. That’s for sure. and @TeamWeezy bro him straining was left in the song to add realism. If they didn’t want it in there they would have melodyned or autotuned it. The straining parts are some of the best parts of the song. It’s real. what music is missing nowadays

Been a while since we seen KD Aubert in a video, at one point, she was “DAT VIDEO CHICK.” Anyway, the video is just so average, just like the song. The song isn’t really bad, but the pitch is just WAYY OFF. I wanna see how this fairs live.

I am by no means indicating that autotune is the answer, I just think some people would actually take the song more seriously if he was singing in a mid register instead of straining! I don’t care what caliber of artist you are, straining NEVER adds a better affect to a song! And most definitely not in a male singers case. Not to mention, the most important factor of a song is being able to perform it with ease, and I’m sure if he can’t do that in the studio, then clearly he can’t live.
However, the song would actually be one of my favorite songs right now if the straining was kept to a minimum. My favorite parts are the background vocals/harmonies. I love them! They are smooth and perfect for the song! That’s usually what I’m singing when I listen to the song.

Very nice video!!! Contrary to many of you, I do not find the song or Lloyd’s singing as repulsive as you do, and I think the video compliments the song very well. It was simple, classy, s*** – which for all intensive purposes, is the vibe the song intends to give. KD Aubert (sp?) looks amazing, and I do hope that Lloyd finally gets the attention he deserves, because his last project Lessons in Love was a wonderful album, but did not receive any fanfare. All in all, great video!!!

@Reece I guess some people just don’t know music. Yes people the straining is left in for a reason. If you know anything about recording you know this could have been easily smoothed out right . Great song I love it love it love it. When I first heard it on the radio I wasn’t sure who it was but the voice sounded familar when I found out who it was I was somewhat surprise. Polow the Don produced this song and he did a very good job with stretching Lloyd’s talent
