Actually, I don’t care anymore. Since I have discovered k-pop, all these western songs sounds lazy, rhythmless and boring lately for me.
You know how rock music has different categories like Glam Rock, Soft Rock..etc? I think we should do the same for Hip-Hop, because Nicki isn’t Hip-Hop. I think of this as Hip-POP. The song, the video, everything is just wrong. I didn’t mind the Electro stuff at first, because only the Black-Eyed Peas were doing it, and it was somewhat refreshing. But now that everyone has jumped on the bandwagon, I can’t wait for the phase to die. Every song on the radio sounds the same, and it doesn’t help that radio plays the same songs every hour. The day this phase is over is the day my life is complete…REAL TALK.

It’s different I guess. I never really got into the song, but it’s constantly on the radio so I have gotten used to it. The video I think will intrigue a market that would be beneficial to her, so I think it’s a pretty good job. Check all of your x’s. Yeah but I didn’t like the wavy things she was doing with her arms at the end. It kind of seemed like a “what do I do with these” type of moment lol.

Um, I speak Korean and I don’t know what you’re talking about. Nothing was wrong with really any of those letters. They weren’t PERFECT Korean but they weren’t bad.
As for the video, I loved it. I don’t think will was in it too much. It’s a JOINT single so they should both be in the video a lot. But I really loved the visuals and the way it was done. It was a fun watch and I loved how Nicki and will and their dancers were totally crazy but the audience was so perfect-acting. This was heavily inspired by anime and it’s a very Kpop-style video. Loved the outfits and I love the song.

Musically, Nicky Minaj is the female version of Flo Rida and stylistically she’s a black version of Lady Gaga. All she is is campy hip-POP for gay guys. No one in hip-hop takes her seriously and neither do hip-hop fans. The ONLY thing she has going for her that can keep her from being totally shut out of black radio is the Cash Money/Drake/Lil Wayne association. If not for that, black music listeners wouldn’t take her seriously at all.
