R&B star Brandy has twirled her way into the semi-finals of the latest season of Dancing With The Stars. Check out her week 9 performances of the Paso Doble and the Argentine Tango with partner Maksim Chmerkovskiy below.

So close to the finish line. If there’s any justice in the world, though, Ms. Norwood has to win. As one of those who had much to say upon learning that she was entering the competition, yours truly is happily eating those words. She’s nailing it and week in, week out, while showing so much growth as a performer. Regardless of the penultimate result, this certainly has me salivating at the prospect of what she can bring to the table on the live performance front when time comes to release her new project. Go Brandy!

Brandy was amazing and only to be 3rd. I was very disappointed with the judges scores but it’s up to us the fans to keep her on the show! I voted and I hope veryone else did as well:)

I’m totally hooked on Brandy and her partner Maks on this show. I have only watched DWTS on and off, but now Ms. Brandy has me glued to the screen every Monday night. I never voted, but have given them all of my votes these past weeks. I would love to see her win the trophy. I mean Jennifer Grey is technically good, but lacks Brandy’s passion and intensisty. I’m really proud of her and was glad to see Kelly Rowland, Whitney Houston and Monica supporting her. Now I can’t wait for the new album! Get it B-Rocka!!!

@King David (nice to speak with royalty. lol), I was so upset at her placing 3rd. Bristol gets away with murder and Kyle gets off easy and relies on his sass rather than having any technical movement. I swear that last dance he was designed for his dance partner/coach to do all the work! The only real competition Brandy has is Jennifer(who most wanted to win before she even stepped foot on the dance floor). I voted for Brandy and I hope she stays.
That was nice of Monica to show up to support Brandy. Also, very generous of Whitney Houston to lend her stardom to Brandy by saying those kind words about Brandy via video tape and also Kelly Rowland. Great to see her industry friends supporting her. However, she’s not going to win. It’s already determined that Jennifer Grey will win. If Bristol Palin stays in and Brandy gets voted off there will be not justice in the world.

Brandy did bring out the big guns, Kelly Rowland and Monica then the Legend herself, Whitney. Then she knocked it out the park with the dance. WAY TO GO BRAN
Sad to say, but Brandy wont win. She has huge support from the urban music fans and hip hop blogs but outside of that her support is low. That’s why she’s in the bottom 2 a few times already. I was scanning the live chat on DWTS site. The most hated so far is Bristol Palin and 2nd most hated is Brandy. The feeling is Brandy and esp. Maxim has been giving an arrogant attitude with arguing with the judges and most of the white middle aged DWTS fans didnt like that. Vast majority like Jennifer and Derek first and 2nd, Kyle cause he’s fun and comedic. So if the live chat boards are correct, the voting will go Jennifer Grey, Kyle Massey, Brandy, and lastly Bristol. But we know the Republicans and tea party are voting for Bristol so there is a definite chance Brandy might be knocked out!! There were tons of peeps in the live chat saying dont vote for Brandy. Prepare for her possible exit tonite.

I love me some Brandy, but I have a feeling she is gonna get eliminated this week. I hope I’m wrong though. Bristol’s non-dancing ass shouldve been eliminated weeks ago, but she has that white political vote. Brandy doesnt really have any of the white support because they like jennifer, bristol, and kyle. Kyle is entertaining, but should be eliminated right after Bristol so the finals can be just Jennifer and Brandy. That’s wishful thinking though.
If atleast 1 of these 2( Kyle or Bristol) don’t go before Brandy I’ll be done with that show forever! I doubt any of my all time favs will ever be on this show, so nothing will make me tune in again!

really hope this show is a turning point for brandy…always have been a huge fan…i loved human, but i want her to have the commercial success she desires…i just hope dwts doesnt spawn a ‘theme’ cd for her ie ‘back II basics’ etc….just want her to embrace a new side influenced thru this show and apply it to her music…alot of her music in this human phase has such a similar sound…im ready for her to do something a la ‘back to me’ or ‘still standing’ …work with REAL PRODUCERS, maybe even working with randy or some of the people that have done tracks on mariahs christmas album…producers that will understand the different layers of brandys voice….

dance and grow as a woman was a joy.
I will not watch Dancing with the Stars anymore. For some reason the
beautiful black girl is egged out in the finals: Mel, Ali’s daughter and Mya. Wow.
It’s almost as if America is not ready to have a beautiful black woman,{ especially
one with a soft brown complexion} gazed at as the beauty she is. Are “other”

It seems that something SNEAKY is going on!!! This is why we black people need to STICK TOGETHER and SUPPORT One another because whether we like it or not people do SNUB US~!
