Pop star Cheryl Cole put her trademark studio wizardry to good use tonight on the BBC’s annual Children In Need fund-raiser. The X Factor judge took to the stage to perform her #1 smash ‘Promise This’.

No surprises there. After the questionably live introduction, Ms. Cole launched into her usual lip-syncing. Still, credit where it’s due – she’s learning to ‘work’ the stage better than many of her UK Pop counter-parts. Now if only her material and vocal could play catch-up.
Randomness: Anyone notice Cheryl’s struggle to catch her breath when giving the post-performance interview? And yet this is the same lady apparently singing faultlessly live…and, of course, judging others? Funny stuff.

Ok now, you are mistaken here. I’m absolutely sure she didn’t lip-synced the song. She should definetely come to US , she’s going to slayyy !!!
So sad that even when she was CLEARLY singing live, you still have to spout your bile. There is literally not a bit of doubt that the overwhelming majority of this, including the opening most obviously was completely live.

i can’t with this h**, she’s the same as Nicki Minaj, the only reason people think they’re so good is because nobody else is doing the same thing at the moment. She was miming (as always) if you ever saw her sing live with Girls Aloud you’d know she sounds like a dog choking on a used tampon and sorry but that performance was lame to me…
Can you post Kylie Minogue’s performance please? you always post Britbey, XTina, Pink & Cheryl but never Kylie…

I think if cheryl was ugly she would be torn apart for the performance..,they probably recorded “live vocals” beforehand and she lip synched to that…dude is ryt in the interview it sounded like she had asthma or sumin…get more kylie onto this already awesome blog!
She did well.
She uses her abilities well even tho she not the best of singers & she has improved since her 1st album.

please stop criticizing her for the sake of it. it is obvious that she didnt lip sych the interview because when she was clapping, the mic had a soft thud sound. it proves the mic was on. i believe she didnt lip sych the singing; it wasnt that perfect but definitely great improvement.
I do not believe she is lip syncing……..She is obviously singing live but I think they’ve laced her mic with autotune to make it pitch perfect. I’ve heard her with GA and she sounds the same, minus the autotuned laced microphone
