“Stomp, stomp, I’ve arrived” a vivacious Jessie J declares on the opening line of her debut single ‘Do It Like A Dude’. And arrived she has.
The Essex-born/ US-based singer-songwriter has generated quite the buzz over the last year – so much so that ‘Dude’ – her label’s preferred “taster single” has surpassed expectation and is currently on-course to be a chart smash her in the UK. With her US debut scheduled for next year, the future is looking particularly bright for the talented songstress.

just lol @ the people on here saying she can’t sing and is choosing to sing crap superficial songs. If you took the time to listen to any of her other songs or live performances, you’d soon be singing to a different tune.
I also wasn’t aware of her being gay. If she is then so what? I’m gay and it would be nice to have a non-stereotypically gay public figure.

hoyes b****people talking s*** and saying she is not using her voice and that she is ruining the industry because she chooses to sing an upbeat catchy fierce track – shutup u r ridiculous and clearly know nothing about jessie j she wrote the song do it like a dude originally for rihanna and then chose to keep it herself so she had a good mix of tracks on her album instead of just using her big voice on every track. she is a breath of fresh air and is exactly what i have been waiting for – an extremely talented songwriter with a massive voice and she is not afraid to experiment with her voice and different music styles.
