J.Cole’s new mixtape, ‘Friday Night Lights’, was released today. Included on the record is this collaboration with fellow hyped rapper Drake which features beats produced by L&X Music. Listen to the song below:
That was incredible! Both rappers brought their A-game on this record and the raw tones of their voices worked perfectly over the knock of the beat and simple recurring melody.
Drake’s melodic flow meshed well with Cole’s swift delivery which was reminiscent of a Jamaican Dancehall DJ style chant on the chorus. Great stuff from start to finish!

i loved the orignal on the blow up mixtape, but jcole’s new verse at the end along drakes verse takes the song to an even more mellow direction. love it, COLE WORLD!
