Sometimes I wonder if Keyshia hears herself when she performs live because she has the tendency to sound incredibly flat. In fact, she even sounds as though she is singing a completely different song. I just don’t understand.

Um…I didn’t think it was that bad! She was kinda flat, but it wasn’t horrible. I can’t remember the last time she delivered a ‘great’ performance, but this certainly wasn’t the worst.
Anywho, I love Keyshia to death. I have always supported her cause I think she is talented and makes good music. The first two were her best, solid through and through. The third one kinda fell flat but that song with Monica saved it for me. I haven’t heard anything from the album that makes me want to buy it. The song with Nicki is annoying and this one is good lyrically, but kinda of boring. I haven’t heard anything that makes me want to buy it. *shrugs*
I hate to say it but I think she is shaing up to flop.This seems to be the season for flops. Its still good to see her out promoting herself though.

Keyshia is fantastic as usual. Additionally, I relate to every song she has ever sang. Finally, she is the only Artist that has inspired me to purchase all of her CD’s. Keep up the “Good Work”!!!!

She does need to learn how to stay on key. She has a great voice, but she doesn’t always match the beat of the song. I really like this song though, and will be buying the album.
I like the song, the performance was pitchy at times. I’m rooting for her though
First, the opening phrases sit rather low in her voice, and considering that she’s not an alto/mezzo she has hard time tuning this part of the song. She also definitely has trouble navigating the wide leaps in the melody, and she has a tendency to fall off of the center of the pitch when she has repeated notes. All in all….hella out of tune. Diagnosis: train that ear get those notes in your voice. She’s not a bad singer.

She’s not terrible, she just needs a damn vocal coach. There is some deep down vocal ability in there.
As for the song. She is always hit and miss for me. This however I like the production quality of. Good for her producers, and writers. This was a solid R & B effort. Now get ya girl some vocal training to bring it home.

She trying not to start to strong on the track which is cool, but she not controlling it.

Keyshia is ALWAYS and I mean ALWAYS flat when she performs! It never fails. I like her, but she needs to get a vocal coach ASAP.
Keyshia started off flat but recovered through the rest of the song. I wonder if she’s read all her bad reviews following her BET Awards performance because she has seemed incredibly nervous during the performances that I’ve seen after that.
I’m a die-hard KC fan though and hope that she gets the vocal training she needs and ups her confidence level to what it was after her debut!
Now I know why I never heard of her, she sucks!
