I don’t think there’s anything wrong with having a video that doesn’t match the song %100, but so far it seems to look like there is absolutely ZERO similarities between the two. Addressing the “haters,” non-fans, and/or critics has nothing to do with S&M, NOTHING. And no I don’t want to see a 4 minute video of Rihanna being whipped and chained, but there are more creative ways to go about doing a video without being so literal while still conveying the song’s underlying message.
