@OKAYY You cant be certified platinum unless your album met the pricing qualifications. So she obviously didn’t get platinum by making her album 3.99. I bought it and other people I knew and it was way more than that. I paid 9.99 on my amazon purchase without tax and shipping included in that price for mine. That was just the regular version on a preorder. The deluxe at best buy was 11.99 as a special not including tax. After the specials it went to 13.99. I don’t know how you are saying that cause I don’t know nobody that got the album for 3.99 and if they did it had to be some type of special. The singles alone are 1.99. Crazy haters.

It is true, Nicki Minaj and her stans keep hoping people won’t bring up the fact that her album sales are slanted because of the circumstances under its release. It album came out on Black Friday with an EXTREME amount of hype and only had large sales do to it being a 4th quarter release. SHe’s been on more songs than ANY artist in 2010. And the fact that it sold in MANY retailers for less than $9. Half the suggested retail price. Target and Best Buy had Pink Friday as low as $7.99 and $8.99 (nowhere NEAR as bad as BeYAWNce’s B’Day that was discounted at Walmart in 2006 for an astonishing $6.99) LMFAO. That’s not mentioning IF she had released the album when it was SUPOSED TO which was back in the summer, it wouldn’t have sold nearly as much. Next year PINK FRIDAY is going to take its rightful place in used clearence carts and bargain bins across the country. I don’t like the bitch, but I love what she’s doing because i’d love ANY bitch doing what she’s doing. It’s all a fascade with her. Where the fuck is Missy ELliott anyway? Side note: Nicki album Pink friday sold 791,000 units.. platinum does not mean 1 million sold, it means 1 million shipped to stores based on demand. Eventually she will sale around or close to 1 million based on scentific data. Some artist sale around 800-900k and don’t recieve a plaque because data suggest they won’t eventually sale to 1 million. Riaa is wack. I always go by soundscan.
In the end Lil Kim sold 8 million records (soundscan) actual sold. So Nicki got a long way to go if she wants history to suggest she the greatest. For a new artist Nicki did nothing but shoot herself in the foot. New artist aren’t suppose to have this type of beef so early in their career. This moment with Lil kim will always be associated with Pink Friday with fans, so in the END she lose
