As previously reported, former Danity Kane minx Aubrey O’Day is making a foray into the world of not-so-reality TV. Set to premiere this Spring on the Oxygen network, ‘All About Aubrey’ sees the O’Day trying to find her footing in the unforgiving world of Pop, with hopes of achieving solo stardom via the recording of her debut LP (executively produced by Adonis).

This, along with the material we’ve been hearing from the album, actually has me salivating for what Ms. O’Day will be bringing to the table this year. She has an installed fanbase (and at the very least, ‘Making The Band’ notoriety), hence has a platform to be heard. How she uses it will be interesting to see.
Here’s hoping the show is more Aubrey ala early Making The Band (hungry and willing to prove), rather than the obnoxious, industry-fettered version we saw towards the end of Danity Kane’s run.

Good for you Aubrey. I think she’s really gonna make it big but I get the feeling that music is an avenue to stay relevant to her more than a real love.
On that note I’ll be looking, hoping and praying for Dawn Richard to do really well as an artist and Aubrey as a celebrity.
Aubrey was only good for Making the Band and I don’t see her as a successful pop female artist. Stick to reality shows Aubrey because you can’t sing, dance or write.
What Making the Band or Danity Kane fanbase do she have? She is the reason Danity Kane is over and I will never support her career. Danity Kane was a successful group but she couldn’t even keep her mouth shut for the sake of the group. Shannon, Aundrea, and D.Woods have no career because of you Aubrey. And one more thing when things go wrong she won’t have any career either; when your always thinking your misses right you will never get anywhere.

The best thing for Aubrey is reality tv. She wants to be famous period. It’s very obvious by the choices she has made up to this point. (playboy, peepshow) She changes like the seasons. From her plastic surgery to her flip flop sexual orientation. Whatever will get her some press and a little fame she will gladly become. She’s not serious about a music career. She just wants a check and some attention. I’m sure she will give the viewers everything that makes for a great scripted reality tv show. Does Aubrey have some talent, yes but unfortunately instead of working hard to become a respected artist in the music industry she is taking what she believes will be an easy route to stardom. and like most reality tv show folks she will get 15 minutes and that will be all. Aubrey will make it. She has the talent! I see all the Britney comparisons and I must say that they’re very similar. Aubrey just sings way better and yes, has alot more swag. I hope Aubrey fight for this because she would really bring something special to the industry! Her and Dawn have always been my favorite. From the beginning you can tell that they were destined to be stars! I miss Danity Kane, but if Dawn, Aubrey and Shannon ever decide to be a trio – I’m all for it!

I think Aundrea Fimbres is more deserving of her own show. That girl had real talent and stayed true to who she was throughout the taping of all seasons of making the band.
