  11. Bubbles February 2, 2011

    Yesssssssss The Queen!! She needs to let me dress her though, I’ll have her looking cuter than she does now. Miss Tina Knowles ain’t handling her business correctly. Love you though B!!

  12. Royalkev February 2, 2011

    @ Plain and simple, right ! The ice was just terrible today, but if anyone can still walk in heels in it it’s Beyonce! 🙂 I really miss her SOOOO much! I barely have anything new on my ipod. Round IV is the first cd I’ll need multiple copies of (like 5), so that I can have it everywhere I go! real talk! Save music B, please!

  13. HALF AMAZIN February 3, 2011

    Why does Beyonce’s everyday appearance look more interesting than Beyonce, the entertainer?? Its like, her candid pictures show waaaay more personality from her wardrobe to her hair. Why doesnt she bring that flair to her “professional” self??? That’s my issue with Beyonce, its like she holds back to fit some kinda superstar “formula”. If you’re a rockstar, honey OWN it! I wish she would be less reclusive. Sasha Fierce is the expected superstar alter ego. Who are YOU Beyonce? We have YET to know and I’m growing tired of waiting.

  14. ~aMaZiNG.Lee~ February 3, 2011

    It’s the F*CKING QUEEN! Handling business, which I’m sure will help her bank in MORE MILLIONS! LOL! Poor lessers. 🙁

  36. KaVion February 3, 2011

    Why does everyone have to speak so much hate.
    All over one picture?
    If all you have to say is negativity, there’s something wrong.
    The world’s generated enough hate already, no need for extras.
    Yes, we all have opinions but there’s more respectful ways to get it across.
    I gotta say this though; it doesn’t matter how loud you scream, how bad you complain or how mad you get. It won’t take away her 16 Grammys, her world wide praise, her records, or her happiness. You’ll never change the fact that she’s living her dream while your bitter and hateful.
    Much Love. Get Ready. Round IV. One Word. Beyonce.

  37. the kiddz February 3, 2011

    @Kyle

    Please provide links to back up your delusions. Not once did she say when she was releasing, except 2011…and in case you didn’t know it’s only February.

  42. the kiddz February 3, 2011

    I’m not mad, sweetie. Why should I be? You still haven’t provided any info backing up your claims. Maybe, because you’re talking out the side of your neck.

    You live in NYC? LOL, the majority of the country is icy/snowy but in Seattle it’s sunny.

    @TrueBlue
    Really? I’m loving the blonde.

  45. RihannaForever February 3, 2011

    LOL, I love the new Gravatar! It’s just that my comments weren’t showing up, so I had to figure that out, and it seems like all of the interesting stuff happens on this site while I’m at school.

  49. RihannaForever February 3, 2011

    @TheKiddz
    Exactly. I don’t mind stans of other artists, it’s just when they act like their fav is a better artist than any other non-humorously (I can handle S***), or when they call you a hater when you give any constructive criticism that I get irritated.

  50. KaVion February 3, 2011

    What was going on with your comments?
    Trent couldn’t take the truth? aha
    Honestly, the crazies have taken over & TGJ has turned into a sequal to 28 Days Later.

  51. KaVion February 3, 2011

    @ KYLE
    Actually the concept of the name I am…Sasha Fierce is what makes it great.
    I wouldn’t even like the name if it wasn’t for the concept.
    Britney’s album name is a cliche, period. Anyone could use that title.
    I’ll still be checking for the album though & supporting Britney all the way.
    I love her story and how she’s built up the strength to better herself.
    It’s insane stans like you that bother me, i have nothing wrong with Britney.

  52. RihannaForever February 3, 2011

    @Kavion
    I don’t know, but it’s happened twice where they just would never appear. The first time, changing my name sufficiently fixed the problem, and the second time I changed my e-mail. I just wonder what’s going on with TGJ. I asked Trent why that problem occured on Twitter, and he never responded. Sam didn’t either.

    LMAO at your 28 Days Later comment. It’s true.

    Oops, i forgot your name lol^^

  54. the kiddz February 3, 2011

    @R4E

    Yup. I’m a big Britney fan, but the praise is just ridiculous. He still hasn’t provided links and @Nichole hasn’t told me how much a Grammy cost.

  55. RihannaForever February 3, 2011

    @Kavion
    LOL, I love those Round IV videos. Though I am a Rihanna stan and no one’s career is likely to end or even begin to diminish because of Beyonce’s comeback, I think those videos are hilarious. She should just call the record Round IV….I’m wondering what it will be called, though. The Femme Fatale and I Am… Sasha Fierce titles were unexpected, so I’m looking forward to knowing. I just need the lead single, since it’s been referred to as the “Crazy In Love” of 2011.

  56. True Ƹ̵̡Ӝ̵̨̄Ʒ Blue February 3, 2011

    @ RF:

    I read what you wrote on the Rihanna post, and I have to say that the dude who shares the same name as the lead singer as Nine Inch Nails (I have to write it like that so I don’t risk getting this comment deleted) is full of it. No one refers to Rihanna as a great talent either, so what the hell was he talking about? I’m not surprised that your other comments got deleted, sounds like someone can’t handle the truth.

    Also, the blond hair is getting tired. I much prefer her with dark hair.

  57. True Ƹ̵̡Ӝ̵̨̄Ʒ Blue February 3, 2011

    * OF Nine Inch Nails.

  58. RihannaForever February 3, 2011

    @TheKiddz
    I adore the pop artists, period. Britney, Christina, Beyonce, Rihanna, Gaga are great, and then Kesha and Katy are okay. It’s just her stans (Kyle, Nichole) that I can’t stand. Some of the delusional stans (S***) are entertaining, but hilarious and not offensive (Nicky), so I can handle them.

    Your “how much does a Grammy cost” comment was hilarious, by the way. This may sound weird, but are you really only 19? TrueBlue said that and I was shocked. Both you and TrueBlue seem way beyond your teens.

    Side-note: Out of curiousity, what’s your favorite Britney record? Mine’s Blackout. Her records before that were okay but I’m not a huge bubblegum fan, and then Circus was too safe. I’m hoping Femme Fatale (loving that title for some reason) is a crazy record and she really does do full-on dubstep instead of just dubstep dance breaks like in HIAM.

  59. KWON CAMPBELL February 3, 2011

    They’re amazing! Haha they’re evil and shady but hilarious! LMAO
    If she names it round IV, I’ll honestly be pissed.
    It’s not creative enough, though It’ll probably have the number 4 in it, since that number is significant to her. I don’t like the title “Femme Fatale” either, it’s a cliche.
    Well we all know Beyonce’s lead singles are always her BIGGEST so i wouldn’t be surprised!

  61. RihannaForever February 3, 2011

    @TrueBlue
    Exactly. Even if Rihanna was referred to as a great talent/diva, I don’t see why the fact that she doesn’t necessarily deliver on her expectations warrants his tremendous hate. It’s so funny to me, though, that he hates Rihanna but doesn’t dislike Jennifer Lopez who is almost like what Rihanna will be like in 20 years, in my opinion.

    As for my comments, I just died when that happened. Not out of frustration, but just by the fact that THEY acted like they had no idea why my comments weren’t showing up.

    Side-note: Didn’t you say you’re in your teens? I’m shocked that you and TheKiddz are, when Nicky is likely in its early 20s. The maturity is so low.

  62. True Ƹ̵̡Ӝ̵̨̄Ʒ Blue February 3, 2011

    @ Kavion:

    LMAOOOO!!! I found other stan videos, one of which I’ve already shown RF, but it’s funny as hell!

  63. RihannaForever February 3, 2011

    @Kavion
    Round IV would be a humorous title, but to be honest, I want a crazy, flawless, and jaw-dropping title. I liked that Dangerously In Love was named to remember her Destiny’s Child roots, and I like the B’Day and IASF titles, but they were kind of safe, in my opinion. I want something interesting. Though Femme Fatale is cliche, it was shockingly unexpected, so I naturally like it.

    And, of course. “Crazy In Love”, “Deja vu” (though “Irreplaceable” was a bit bigger in that case), and “If I Were a Boy”/”Single Ladies” were huge singles for her and some of her more remembered songs, so I wouldn’t be surprised if this lead single is great. I want it to be, of course.

  64. True Ƹ̵̡Ӝ̵̨̄Ʒ Blue February 3, 2011

    @ RF:

    Aw, thank you. Yes, I am only 19, and I believe the mentally stunted psycho once professed to being 24 years old. When I read that I thought “I wouldn’t brag about that if I were you”. The thing is, maturity doesn’t always correlate with age. Some people are more mature than most adults at a very young age, and there are plenty of people who never grow up mentally and emotionally (like Nicky). I have a 32 year old cousin, and let’s just say that she makes the cast of Jersey Shore look mature.

  65. the kiddz February 3, 2011

    @R4E

    Thank you, I am 19. And seriously if Grammys are up for sale, I would like a few with my name engraved on it. When I introduce myself, I’ll be like “Grammy award winner Kiddz”. Do you think Amazon carries them? Lol…favorite album? I would say a tie between In the Zone and Blackout, strong preference towards the latter. It was edgy and different for her and it seems that an artist under emotional turmoil produce some amazing work. But, I honestly don’t like HIAM, the chorus is too weak for a Britney single.

  66. KaVion February 3, 2011

    @RIHANNA FOREVER
    As long as Sean Garret & Darkchild have nothing to do with it..it will.
    I think it would be crazy unexpected if she’d release a POWER ballad like listen first!
    She rarely does power ballads and one as a LEAD single would be different.
    Then she can do another anthem but honestly, I want a new formula.
    The:
    Dance Track
    Ballad
    Dance Track
    Midtempo
    Dance Track
    Ballad

    Formula isn’t working for me anymore, though I love the songs, it’s becoming predictable.

  67. True Ƹ̵̡Ӝ̵̨̄Ʒ Blue February 3, 2011

    @ Kavion:

    LOL! I also saw Drew’s “Mad?” gravatar in it! Too funny!

    I love the ending, she just sips her tea! Lol

  69. KaVion February 3, 2011

    @TRUE BLUE^^

  70. RihannaForever February 3, 2011

    @TrueBlue
    It’s true. My brother, I’ve said before, is only 15 but he seems so old sometimes. However, sometimes, he can seem very young and immature. Maturity is just different in each individual. Out of curiousity, what are your favorite Beyonce and Britney records? Oh, and what did you think of the “S&M” video and the reaction the public had to it?

    @TheKiddz
    I find it mind-boggling that you and TrueBlue are two of the most mature users of this site yet you’re in your teens. But like TrueBlue said, it’s something that doesn’t correlate with age.

    I would love Grammys! I don’t love my name, so if it just said RihannaForever, it’d be hilarious. Also, I agree. Her early records were a little safe, redundant (they all sound the same), and bubblegum, which I hate. In the Zone was good, but Blackout was great. Like you said, artists can produce great records under emotionial turmoil. Then Circus, of course, was just boring. As for HIAM, I agree that the chorus was really boring. That video better blow me away.

  71. KWON CAMPBELL February 3, 2011

    @KAVION, THAT ROUND IV VID YOU POSTED WAS FREAKIN HILARIOUS LMAO!!! WITH CIARA CRYING AND KERI PISSED OFF LMAO!! WITH “CHILE PLEASE” ON RIHANNA… THAT WAS MOS DEF MY GAG FOR TONIGHT… THANX LOL

  72. RihannaForever February 3, 2011

    @Kavion
    I agree. The songs that Beyonce have done with Sean Garrett and Darkchild tend to be my least favorite from her. And also, her and Christina both have similar formulas and they become so boring. I hope she does something new and releases a few dance tracks, then a ballad and a midtempo, or a dance track followed by a midtempo and then a ballad – something new and less predictable.

    She kind of did that already. If it weren’t for “Single Ladies”, IASF would have followed that formula. What’s funny is that I remember “Single Ladies” took longer to catch on and chart highly like “If I Were a Boy”, though IIWAB wasn’t as successful in the end.

    @TrueBlue
    I love Drew’s Gravatar.

  73. KAT DELUNA FAN February 3, 2011

    LMAO LIKE TRENT AND SAM WERE ON SOME LARRY KING LEVEL OF IMPORTANCE.GIMME ME A BREAK ..

    JUST BECAUSE KAT IS NOT SUCCESSFUL MEANS SHE DOESNT DESERVE TO HAVE SOME SUPPORT?

    MY FAV IS BEYONCE BUT I SUPPORT LESS MAINSTREAN ARTISTS LIKE TEAIRRA MARI/BRUNO MARS/JANAELLE MONOE BECAUSE THEY NEED IT THE MOST.

    PEOPLE ARE SO IMMATURE SOMETIMES

  74. True Ƹ̵̡Ӝ̵̨̄Ʒ Blue February 3, 2011

    @ RF:

    Favorite Bey records in order of preference:
    B’Day
    DIL = IASF ( DIL is more cohesive, but the few songs that I like on IASF I actually prefer to DIL)

    Favorite Britney records in order of preference:

    In The Zone
    Britney
    Oops… I Did It Again

    I have never listened to Baby One More Time, Blackout or Circus, so I can’t rate them.

    And as for Rihanna, my opinion on S&M: http://thatgrapejuice.net/2011/02/video-rihanna-sm-2/#comment-408493

  75. KaVion February 3, 2011

    @RIHANNA FOREVER
    I mean a POWER ballad though. Like in the style of a Whitney, Celine, Mariah or even Aretha. If I Were A Boy was radio ready, a power ballad wouldn’t be exactly what’s a “hit” now. What I want to see is more collabs. She did IASF completely solo, now I want to see collaborations from artists like John Legend, Alicia Keys, Lauryn Hill, Jay Z. J Cole, possible Janelle Monae & finally a collab. with Rihanna. There’s many other artists I’d rather her work with but I know she only works with who’s on top in the game.

    I want to see her and Jay do a LOVE SONG. I mean four is their number lol. I want them to do a midtempo possibly rap ballad written by BEYONCE that’s very honest and heartfelt. Then Jay can come in a spit an honest verse in the style of “Song Cry”. I also want Beyonce to do more songs about life, not just love. Which she has been, but i want even more. Hopefully she just goes in this with an extremely open mind.

  76. the kiddz February 3, 2011

    WHAT!? Darkchild is the only one who has grown with Bey and is more considered with making music than hits. I love all his tracks. Sean Garrett she needs to send to the left.

  77. KaVion February 3, 2011

    @KAT DELUNA FAN
    What?? Bruno Mars is MAAAINSTREAM.
    Did you just mean underrated for their talent?
    I agree with you though, people are immature and it’s GREAT you support underrated artists. You never know, Kat might blow up one day & you’ll be able to say you were there from the start :]

  78. KaVion February 3, 2011

    @THE KIDDZ
    Darkchild used to be amazing, he fell off.
    Sonically, “Scared of Lonely” was a damn mess.

  79. RihannaForever February 3, 2011

    @Kavion
    A power ballad would be great. Her few power ballads are amazing, but the singles that she releases that are ballads are typically more toned down. And although I would love a Jay-Z and Beyonce love song collaboration, I highly doubt it will ever happen since they’re so private. Did you hear he has a new record coming out this spring? I liked the Blueprint 3 but didn’t love it, so that would be great.

    Also, I would love a few collaborations. She’s done so much solo music lately, so a few collaborations would be appropriate. Not too many though. I don’t want a Keri Hilson-style album.

    @TrueBlue
    I loved your review. I didn’t think the “S&M” video was better than the “Only Girl” and “What’s My Name?” videos, but it was good like they were…just in a different way. Since Loud is more of a colorful era for her, I loved the colors and since the one scene with the security camera gave me “Russian Roulette”-video feelings, I was not disappointed. It just wasn’t amazing…I want something amazing. Lord, please let that “Raining Men” video blow me away – like we both said.

    Alright…I’ve got to go out to dinner. Au revoir!

    @Rihanna Forever, don’t gloat! I’m so jealous. I’m not one that love summer weather (unless, I’m not in NY… that probably doesn’t make sense), but I’ll take 80 degree weather right about now.

    @Kavion, you really don’t like “Scared of Lonely”? That was a great song, it was sung with so much passion and the lyrics were very meaningful. I agree that Darkchild fell off, I think he’s writing staff is too big. The few that he was using before was an amazing team.

    @Rihanna Forever, I think I prefer Bey’s mid tempo’s over her power ballads. I think she’s so natural and it really allows her to really relax her tone and show personality in it. Don’t get me wrong though, I still love to hear her rip it when it’s a strong ballad too!

    @ Kyle that youtube clip is just redundant! Those accusations are such desperate attempts to discredit Beyonce fall all of her success that it’s just laughable. I mean if she was stealing from Donna Summer, why would she be so obvious in Naughty Girl? I’m sure she’d find a much more clever approach. Both songs open up with the same line: I love to love you baby… The Rihanna claim was pure nonsense. Before Rihanna came into her own she was very inspired by Bey and borrowed from her heavily in her early stages. There are so many things Beyonce can’t do that tons of other artist have and it’s never making news. I think that was just lame and the whole thing is so 2005. The Queen isn’t going anywhere and Round IV is going to be the best album hands down! I don’t have anything against most of the other dames holding their own, but Bey run this!

    Yawns man I hope Bey album is called “Round IV” I think that fits it perfect!!! For the genre I’ve heard rumored about that would kill!!! I really want her to do a big ballad like “I Will Always Love You” by Whitney Houston ummm not sure if I want a feature on it. If her and lauryn hill do a collab together hmmmm…. From what i have seen Lauryn Hill has to work on her voice again cuz it Wasent that back in day voice anymore and I understand she’s older now and been threw alot but practice makes perfect, I really want Beyonce and Jay to do a “Love story” song, I’m going be honest it’s hard to get a connection with Beyonce as a fan besides her glams becuz we know nothing about her, we don’t know what she go through, we don’t know her favorite color, we dont know her inside life, likehow are we suppose to connect with her when none of it is coming truly from the heart besides “Dangeriously In Love” “Flaws and All” Resentment” Now I know “Resentment” was song from experience when she performed that I felt embarrassed real talk Becuz it’s heartfelt its real, reality but I hope he album be more from personal experience from her and not someone else #RoundIV20011

    Really? “Scared of Lonely” is one of Beyonce’s songs that isn’t so upbeat that she sacrifices her passion for her vocals, but is allowed to, since it isn’t super upbeat, to showcase both.

    @TheRoyalKev
    Love your page! By the way, I have to say that Beyonce is really capable of it all. Her uptempo tracks are good, but I don’t love them. “Deja vu” and “Sweet Dreams” are some of my favorite songs, but I prefer to hear her soft midtempos and powerful ballads.

    Very well said about Beyonce. I agree about being a Beyonce fan/stan, too. It’s hard, as a lot of artists (Katy Perry, Rihanna) share a lot about themselves, but Beyonce and Gaga, to name a few, are very private and it’s not as easy to be fan or a stan because you can’t really get insight on how they are.

    Hey! Just to share (LOL, I’m so odd) I had a really nice dinner, but of course, my girlfriend wanted to go all the way to Fremont which is about 20 minutes away from where we live without traffic, and that’s rare. So it took me a while to get back. Anyways, I had to ask, what about B’Day made it your favorite Beyonce record?

    I’m not saying she should, and I personally don’t mind if she does (I don’t care if she does), but I understood what Speaks Truth meant about how it’s hard to figure out what we, as fans, want from the artists like Beyonce and Gaga because we can’t base our interests for them musically off of their personal experiences.

  101. True Ƹ̵̡Ӝ̵̨̄Ʒ Blue February 3, 2011

    @ RF:

    I love the instrumentation of the album, it gave it a live, jazzy feel. I also love that there seemed to be no particular concept behind it, it was just a fun, loose record. Probably because of the fact that she recorded the album in two weeks while on vacation after shooting Dreamgirls.

    It’s her least successful and least well-received album, but I love it the most. I also loved the Beyoncé Experience tour, I have to say that it ties with the I… Am tour as my favorite tours from her. The only reason I would put the I.. Am tour above it is because she is at her best vocally on that tour.

    Oh, did you hear about the White Stripes breaking up?

  102. True Ƹ̵̡Ӝ̵̨̄Ʒ Blue February 3, 2011

    BTW, I like that Bey keeps to herself personally, it creates a nice mystique. I like knowing very little about my artists personally. It actually makes their work more fun to enjoy. Like Regina Spektor, I don’t know much about her aside from her upbringing. So it makes her songs more fun to enjoy, you don’t know which songs were written from personal experience and which ones were written from imagination. Only recently did I find out that she has a boyfriend.

  103. hp February 3, 2011

    @rihannaforever]well said i think she would have a bigger fan base if she open up more

  104. RihannaForever February 3, 2011

    @HP
    She would, but if she doesn’t want to it’s alright. Like TrueBlue said, it’s kind of nice to be able to learn about that aspect of their lives from their music as opposed to them verbally sharing it.

  105. RihannaForever February 3, 2011

    @TrueBlue
    I actually agree. Part of the reason I can’t choose a favorite Beyonce album is because I felt that DIL was her most cohesive but had the worst material (it wasn’t bad, just not as good as her others), then B’Day was great but was a little less personable and a little less well-done than I wished it was (2 weeks for that was great, though), and then IASF wasn’t cohesive as one record though the material was great.

    The good thing is that her new record is set to incorporate lots of instruments. My only problem is that I want an album of “Sweet Dreams” and “Deja vu” from her. The sound has changed a million times over. First it was party music, then it was Off the Wall, then it was organic and instrumental, then it was Lauryn Hill-inspired, and then I heard that she was working with dubstep and indie producers. We’ll see. I’ve never been disappointed by her.

    Also, I never saw the Beyonce Experience, but it seemed great, and then the I Am… Tour was insanely well-done, and her vocals were ON POINT. I did hear about the White Stripes parting ways, yes, and it was definitely unfortunate. All of my favorite bands are disbanding…

And hopefully it will sound like absolutely NOTHING else out there. She has enough clout to do whatever the hell she wants now, the possibility of flopping should no longer be a concern for her.

    You said it, I love how she incorporated old school funk….funk + her voice= match made in heaven. She needs to embrace her role as the modern day Chaka Khan. What are your favorite songs of hers?

  111. Speaks Truth February 3, 2011

    It just my opinion I just don’t feel some of her songs like that and I don’t want her to open all the way up, I just want like to know who she is basically??? We as fan/stan don’t know that, I’m not even talking about her & jay Im just talking about her but I guest sense she made it this far without drama and opening up about her life then I guest she doing the right thing *shrugs*

    I Just want bey to show us wit love is, like I want that song to show how a women suppose to feel about her husband, like I want to feel that positivity from a relationship, It’s so many women dissing men and men dissing women in the industry Smh

    I just want some love lol musically of course, glad I have someone next to me who I can truly say I have experience love with and going on 6 years at the age of 23 it ain’t easy lol!!!

    I do hope this next record is a huge record for her, promotion-wise, musically, and image-wise. Then she can go have little Beyonce’s and Jay-Z’s. I would’ve been happy for her if she was pregnant like people thought she was back in November (whenever it was), but I need one more Beyonce record.

    Oh, and never. That’s not going to happen.

    @TrueBlue
    I totally agree. I want Beyonce to have THAT album. The album that is a classic and people know it. Her Thriller. Her Good Girl Gone Bad. Her Rhythm Nation. Her Like a Prayer. You know what I mean? She’s had 3 huge records, but now she needs to do something daring, because LAP, RN1814, GGGB, and Thriller were all edgy and daring records for those artists.

    I also hope Muse isn’t next. I adore them, and if they broke up I’d be very saddened. The funny thing is, however, about Michael Jackson, that I actually didn’t think Thriller was his strongest record. I preferred Off the Wall, HIStory and Dangerous by far, but I suppose the former is so recognizable due to its success. Kind of like Rihanna. Rated R and Loud are better than GGGB but GGGB is more noted due to its success.

    @TheKiddz/@TrueBlue
    My problem with Beyonce is that I think she’s torn. It’s like she doesn’t want to lose the commercial success, but she also wants to do big things. Most great artists go through that. Look at Prince, MJ, Janet, Madonna, Chaka – they all chose, except for Madonna, to do big, new, different, and exciting things instead of guaranteed commercial success. If you remember correctly, Madonna originally chose the former, but it didn’t work for her and instead of accepting that her commercial success was diminishing, she chose to switch routes to have success. I hope Beyonce realizes that she actually may be able to do whatever she wants to, and as long as a few commercial songs are included, she’s fine.

    My favorite songs by her vary. I love the mainstream “Sweet Dreams”, “Deja vu”, and “Ring the Alarm”, and then the mainstream ballads “Irreplaceable” and “Halo” are great, too, but I also adore songs like “Listen”, “Kitty Kat”, “Creole”, and “Freakum Dress” which are less mainstream and really showcase what she’s capable of. I hope her fourth record is a mixture of both. But what I want is for some of the less mainstream songs to have single treatment too.

    I agree. Michael’s best albums are the ones that get the least props. I like Thriller, but I can actually see S***’s point when he says that album is overrated. But I wouldn’t say it’s overrated, it’s just overplayed.

    In fact, that is the case for most artists. The best albums aren’t the ones that are the most popular. Like Muse’s most well-known album is probably BH & R, but I prefer Absolution.

    Origin of Symmetry is overrated as hell, though…

    So true. Michael Jackson’s most soothing and great record is Off the Wall, but everyone knows Thriller. Janet Jackson gave me EVERYTHING I wanted on Velvet Rope and Control, but everyone knows Rhythm Nation 1814. Madonna did much better on records like Bedtime Stories and American Life, but everyone knows her for Like a Virgin (I don’t remember the names of her records well). Same with Muse, like you said TrueBlue. I love Absolution, but everyone knows BH & R.

    I know. Beyonce has that fire to do things no one’s heard and she is definitely capable of bringing it, for lack of a better term, on a record. I think the reason her first 3 albums were kind of predictable and safe is because she wanted to cement herself as a successful pop/R&B star. I do honestly feel, though, that she may break out of that since she’s working with Diplo (my new favorite producer), Sleigh Bells, and Symbolc One. Hopefully she does.

    By the way:
    1. I think Gaga is branching out too early. One more safe record and then I think she could do BTW. Oh well.
    2. Out of Katy, Kesha, Gaga, Rihanna, Britney, Avril, Pink, and Beyonce, which do you see becoming legends/icons? You may choose 3 or 4.

  123. the kiddz February 3, 2011

    It’s the video for Thriller that people remember. And I find it funny that when people try to downplay Bey’s songs by saying she has no substance or message, but when I ask about Thriller’s message…..*silence*.

  124. RihannaForever February 3, 2011

    @TheKiddz
    I totally agree. People act like Beyonce doesn’t make meaningful and deep songs, since she’s done songs like “Single Ladies” and “Diva”, but then they can’t even explain very deep meanings behind “Thriller” or “Don’t Stop Til You Get Enough” (I actually prefer the latter to the former). The videos during his Thriller era were exceptionally well done, however. The funniest thing is when those same people find deep meanings in Katy Perry and Kesha songs.

  125. the kiddz February 3, 2011

    @RF

    I’m not even trying to figure out what sound she’s going for. She’s working with so many different producers. The one I”m most hyped about is Q-Tip (Got Til’ It’s Gone & Honey).

    Who will become Legends? Honestly, I see only Beyonce for now. She’s been an influence on all the other females you mentioned, except for Britney (who is a Legend based on album sales). I never understood why I like her. *Kanye Shrug* Gaga…IDK she irks me, but the chick is talented. We’ll see how this album goes…and I agree, she is branching out a little early.

  127. RihannaForever February 3, 2011

    I see Rihanna, Gaga, Britney, and Beyonce in the long run. With Britney, it’s her success and appeal. People love her since she’s your American Dream. With Beyonce, she has the talent and everything. With Gaga, it’s the weird factor. Then with Rihanna, she’s kind of a bit of a mix of them all. Plus, people love to hate Ms. Fenty.

    Oh, and Gaga is just okay to me, but I am excited for that lead single, and I’m just going to wait and see with Beyonce. The lead single is supposedly the “Crazy In Love” of 2011, so I’m looking forward to that.

    @Ke$hus
    You fell off of the face of the earth and just showed up, LOL. By the way, I think that proves that I’m a stan. With Beyonce, I see much she could improve upon but it never comes up. With Rihanna, I consider myself a stan because not only do I adore her music and personality, but I feel as though I want to see her accomplish and that’s why I share constructive criticism. Unlike you, I realize that I don’t stan for Jesus. I love Rihanna and want to see her succeed. With Beyonce, I don’t care as much, and that’s why I’m not a stan.

    By the way, I don’t hate Katy or Kesha. I have all of their albums, and a Katy poster. It’s just that I don’t see them doing enough musically or giving the effort that their contemporaries do.

She’s mainly reknowned as a live performer just like Beyoncé, yet you have Tina fans dissing Bey). Gaga however, it all depends on Born This Way. If that album doesn’t meet people’s expectations and the hype that she has set upon it, then I don’t think she’ll be iconic, unfortunately. Pink has always been the underdog, so she’ll be iconic in her own way.

    I know, I just feel almost like TFM is an album since she’s called it that, and so I always consider BTW her third record. If it isn’t amazing, Gaga’s screwed. However, it’s almost like she’s trying to give herself a free pass. @ True Blood, “Forever to Bleed” #Pauz #catchesbreath I really love love love that song when I first heard that song I was going thru everything she said at that time and man o man was that a powerful song and now that I think about the only artist who brings in big number off of songs like that is Beyonce, shes the only artist who can sell R&B wise and still become platinum, for example keyshia Cole didn’t do so well, Usher full blown pop now after OMG, Chris Brown Pop now, I guest it’s just the genre I’m not even going say Ciara or Keri however Keri is doing good for her 2nd album in this recession,

    For Ciara I don’t know what she needs to be back on top that she hasn’t done with “Basic Instint” Although I believe that “Fantasy Ride” was her best album to date IMO

    Beyonce will prob go back to her roots “Dangerously in Love” mixed with “BDAY” IMO, just imagine if she say Lauryn Hill is a inspiration (that’s means she has to write her own lyrics, which will be very artistic sense she said Lauryn) Micheal Jackson (Upbeat with raw choreography and movements that will most certainly become a trend), I want to see Beyonce try to do a Country song also????

    NOOOO! My mom was doing a gig in Venice and Tina was in attendance. I was unfortunately taking too many classes that semester to miss school. And I agree it’s a generational bias, they don’t even bother listening to her before they label her a gimmick.

  145. True Ƹ̵̡Ӝ̵̨̄Ʒ Blue February 3, 2011

    @ Speaks Truth (why are you calling me True Blood?):

    No, I don’t want her to go back to her roots of any sort. She needs to make an album that will slay on all fronts and blur genres as well. Lauryn and Michael are great inspirations to have, so that can only mean good things for the album.

    I think Bey could do a country song justice. Even though I don’t like the genre, it would be interesting to see her try it. And I agree that she is the only mainstream R&B/pop artist who straddles both genres with balance and doesn’t suffer commercially for it. But Chris incorporated R&B into his music even when he was popular as well.

  146. the kiddz February 3, 2011

    “Off-topic, but do you notice how when you go on YouTube to watch videos, almost EVERY comment has to mention Justin Bieber?”

    That’s SO TRUE! It’s really annoying: “This is real music, not that s*** Justin Bieber..thumbs up if you agree”…Lol. It’s ridiculous…I think I actually defended him on a Queen video.

    It was Bohemian Rhapsody, his name is on every comment section.

  151. RihannaForever February 3, 2011

    @TrueBlue
    That’s crazy to me. “Scheibe” isn’t that great of a song, and anyone who thinks that that type of material could change the industry is insane. I hope she has enough lil monsters to make BTW a hit if it isn’t spectacular.

    Yes! I was reading comments on a HIAM video, and someone brought up how Justin Bieber’s voice was higher than even Britney’s, and then it turned into a war. I would comment to shut dumb people up (I don’t dislike Justin Bieber at all; I actually like him), but Youtube commentors are mental and will stop at nothing to prove a point.

    @TheKiddz
    LOL, I met her in July of 2010 and October of 2010: both times she had red hair. One was after a show during the LGOE tour, and one was at a book signing when I was in NYC. She was nicer at the book signing. She seemed rushed backstage at the show, and tired (since it was following the show), so she seemed a little mean. She’s very kind, though, and truly does care a lot about her fans unlike some people say.

  152. True Ƹ̵̡Ӝ̵̨̄Ʒ Blue February 3, 2011

    @ The Kiddz:

    Oh. Well that and Somebody To Love have the highest amount of Bieber-related comments, the latter being because Justin has the song of the same name.

    I don’t like him, but I don’t mind his existence either. He’s no different than the t*** pop idols that came before him, so I don’t understand why the extreme hate against him. The worst is that I read homophobic comments and wishes of death from those Queen fans, yet if you were to do the same to their fave, they’d kill you for it. And when you remind them of their hypocrisy, they justify it by saying “well Freddie had talent and Justin sucks, so he deserves it”. SMH. How old are those idiots?

    Honestly… I DO NOT. Beyonce is ‘THAT B****’ & She shits on every B**** Out (Doesnt make me anydiference PAST OR PRESENT/ MALE OR FEMALE) EVERYBODY <<< BEYONCE. I can write ESSAYS & TERM PAPERS in explanation but why do I need to explain??

    Not to imply that i like or respect No other artist, I have just as much artistic respect for R.Kelly as I do Beyonce, I have just as much respect for Mariah & Whitney as a Vocalist as I do Beyonce. As I Respect MJ & Tina Trner just as much as a performer as well (though I find Beyonce far better) But its about EVERYTHING, & beyonce is EVERYTHING all in 1 Artist. So to answer your question NO I dont. Just my opinion, there is NOBODY Better in terms of Talent, Music, & Greatness & I couldnt care less who came out 1st or is more successful.

I really want Bey to release a Pre-Single Soon (C-ERROR Style) or Leak something lol.

  173. True Ƹ̵̡Ӝ̵̨̄Ʒ Blue February 3, 2011

    @ S***:

    He did not “hide behind a piano”, most of the time he was running around onstage, he played piano for less than a handful of songs throughout an entire concert. If you did your research on him, you would know that. Tell me that he’s boring in this performance: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4DvlYv5RrVQ&feature=related

    Also, what’s wrong with playing an instrument? Is it not a skill worthy of respect? To play one really well (as he did) takes a LOT of skill and natural talent, it’s not to compensate for anything. But in Freddie’s case he wasn’t lacking in ANY area to over compensate for. He was a master vocalist, performer, songwriter and pianist.

    Sorry, I love Bey, but Freddie >>>>>>>>>>> Bey, without f****** question. Yes, even better than MJ too *ducks behind chair*.

    Thank you. I like Beyoncé but I agree w/ you: she cannot be (won’t be) as great as Freddie Mercury was. His voice was absolute perfection — sang ALWAYS live and hands down for having the most memorable performances (ie. Live 8 anyone?). He got the whole package: awesome vocals, amazing pianist/guitar player, songwriter, entertainer; one of the first -or the first- in having an opera singer feautured in one rock/pop song….. I just can go on and on and on……………………….
    Freddie & Michel Jackson are two of the best musicians/geniuses of all time. You CAN’T touch that.

    Sound-Off: When Will Sisters Fully Embrace Beyonce?
    Tuesday, December 28, 2010 | 12:05 PM

    by Shirea L. Carroll

    Her name is not only recognized worldwide, it turns celebrities into fans and the media into her best friend. Beyonce Giselle Knowles is a name that represents the cream of the crop, so why do so many sisters choose to hate on her?

    Wasn’t it Beyonce, a Black woman, who recently became the only pop artist to break the top 10 of Forbes list of Hollywood’s 20 Highest Earning of 2010? You can’t forget that last month her “I Am…World Tour” DVD went double-platinum in a year when even the most popular artists’ albums weren’t going gold… the same woman who made 2011’s Guinness Book of World Records, along with her husband, for “Highest-Earning Couple.”

    In February she set another record when she swept the Grammys with a total of six awards, and in the same month entered the luxury goods industry selling $3 million dollars worth of her fragrance “Heat.”

    Without sounding like a stan (stalker+fan), I could go on. For the past 15 years, Beyonce has perfected and mastered her craft. This is why I’m baffled that so many women, Black women included, (judging by comments on Twitter, Facebook and even on Essence.com) find joy firing off the most snide remarks at anything even remotely related to the singer. Since her debut solo album, some of us “sisters” have made hating on Beyonce a favorite cultural pastime. Everything from “she’s overrated,” to “if she gets any lighter she’s gonna fade away,” to “a day doesn’t go by without Essence talking about Beyonce.”

    So, here I am, reporting about Beyonce again, because not acknowledging Beyonce as an undeniable cultural force is absurd. At this point there aren’t any valid arguments to support the belief that she isn’t. How long will people hold a grudge against this woman because she left Destiny’s Child… five years ago? Before complaining about Beyonce “disowning” her group, ask yourself when was the last time you (legally) downloaded a Kelly Rowland song, or bought a Michelle Williams album? Some say she’s overrated and everywhere, but that’s what happens when you work your ambitious ass off and are always striving for more.

    If it were left up to some Black female commentators, Beyonce — or as she’s not-so-affectionately referred to, “Stankyonce” — would be considered talentless. Some complaints include the usual, “she can’t act or sing, she’s phony and way too s***, she’s not classy enough.” Hate, hate, and more hate. Stop it. The commentary has become so passionately angry, you’d think Beyonce did something personal to some of these women.

    You can call her every name in the book when she’s shaking it and showing it all over the stage, but Beyonce is paid to entertain, and that she does, very well. My theory is that confident women love and support other confident women, and those who lack confidence — hate.

    Beyonce represents Black women working hard to achieve success and reach their goals. She’s a bad mama jama who has conquered the music business with an untainted image. Making her own ends meet without opening her legs for anyone besides her very accomplished husband. She floats through both White and Black media oozing s***, juxtaposed by her own grace and humility. Some women just don’t know what to do with Bey but envy, because looking at her reminds us of our own insecurities. Beyonce has torn down stereotypes, set new standards, and through it all, redefined what a Black woman can be.

  208. Sugaranice February 3, 2011

    @ Prince Wow you are really angry. LOL!! I love Beyonce too but I’m just saying she doesn’t garner the respect that she herself would like to receive from other Artists.

    Beyonce begged the President to sing at the Inaugural Ball, Mr. President originally wanted Jennifer Hudson. ..I respect her game she works for everything she gets..but with that said

    WHO IS SHE?? REALLY?

  209. Chickitass. February 3, 2011

  212. CRAMPED February 3, 2011

    @Sugaranice – Lieing again? Beyonce didnt beg to perform for the president, she was asked. She performed for them at least 3 times. Twice during the inauguration celebrations and at the White house state dinner. The Obamas are big fans of Bey and even attended her concert.

  213. Prince February 3, 2011

    @ Sugaranice i was a lil too angry lol. U r a Bey fan so my bad at callin u all those b****** lol. But if u call ur self a real Bey fan how can u ask that question? Just know its good 4 Artists to keep alittle mystery about there personal life. I think when Artists keep Mysteries it gains them more fans especially for popular Artists like Beyonce. U should know she opened up alittle if u seen her live tour dvds. She dont need 2 let the world know every single detail about her life if u wanna know every single detail about her life.

  214. Royalkev February 3, 2011

    That’s wassup! I’ll definitely invite you to any listening parties in this summer (when I’m finish my projects – w/ my music, etc) so if you can, follow me on twitter: Thepageroyalkev(don’t add with – that’s only for the blog).

  215. Beyoncé: The Queen of Pop & Soul February 3, 2011

    Wow, this was becoming a really good music discussion UNTIL the Stanwars reared it’s ugly head. Rihanna_Forever, The_Kiddz, True_Blue, RoyalKev and Kavion, it’s beautiful to see great musical convo and all of you hit on a lot of things.

    I would love to see Bey do a country song myself. Actually if you want to get technical, she covered Proud to Be an American: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BJUnkqJInIE Not to mention, she actually has cred in the country music genre. Diva and SL even crossed over to that format and then with Taylor Swift episode, that doesn’t hurt either. But mainly her tone, and diction fits that genre perfectly. I don’t know if she’s as bluesy in her phrasing to fully give it justice. I do feel she has improve her wailing, maybe she can give Loretta Lynn tea. Who knows?

    I am of the opinion that when Bey finally drops her next album, she will help set the industry’s direction for where it will go musically and entertainment as a mainstream entertainer/artists. Maybe I am setting the bar too high, but that’s what I see. I get R_F’s point about being in a crossroad between trying to keep Crossover success and bringing music that will blow people’s minds away. But I actually think that the IASF era takes the pressure off her. She really nothing to prove. The girl won 6 Grammys from that era. No one is expecting anything like that from her again. So that will open her up to do something that will set herself apart from what she from the IASF era musically and performing.

    BTW@ Kiddz, I see Pink as a potential legend. She was the Pop Artist of the Decade according to BillBoard. She moves units, she tours extremely well and has a fan base that is dedicated to her. They are willing to grow with her as an artist. So, I see her in that vein as a potential legend and she’s a great live performer.

  216. hp February 3, 2011

    beyonce just came in at number 1 on best singer[female] on billboard

  217. Beyoncé: The Queen of Pop & Soul February 3, 2011

    And another thing, I agree with True_Blue with her keeping some mystery. I think she knows how to navigate the “Pop World”. She forces you to focus on her excellence of her craft, and you still get a little something of “her world”. Also, with all of multi-genre format in terms of her music, it also gives you a little insight on what kind of music she likes and how passionate she is in terms of performing.

    I mean, maybe we won’t get fully autobiographical songs from her or “deep” introspective songs from her mainly because she’s not a big lyric writer. Nevertheless, her musicianship for me, is where I think that at the end of day, when people talk about her legacy will appreciated more and more as time goes on.

  218. hp February 3, 2011

    @kyle

    how do like those stats…..BEYONCE ARMY,,,,AND STILL SOLD MILLION IN SNGLES

    6.8 MILLION,SINGLE LADIES

    IF I WER A BOT,5 MILLION+

    HALO,4.9 MILLION+..

  219. Speaks Truth February 3, 2011

    Ughhhhh I can’t wait until “Round IV” bey going kill the game!!!! Of course change it once again also!!!

  220. Sugaranice February 3, 2011

    @Prince I have every single CD and DVD Beyonce made or created..as I stated my Daughter worships her. I walk past her face everyday there is a huge Poster hanging from my daughter’s bedroom door.

    @ Cramped I’m not lying..my sister works for the State Dept and I’m sure a lot of the story has been exaggerated since but the initial request to sing at the Inauguration was made on Beyonce’s behalf her staff..her people. The President since has extended invites to her because he genuinely likes her.

    This is not the degradation of a Black Female artist as @Simon says Stop suggests. This is just a simple question who are you besides what your parents say you are?
    What Jay-Z won’t talk about?
    I see a Beautiful smiling face.. a rehearsed interview… a s*** comment every now and then..but I don’t see The Artist
    I see the brush that’s been handed to Beyonce to paint with.

  221. remmy February 3, 2011

    @ Beyonce : The Queen of pop and soul, you really gave me something to think about. Beyonce doing country, huh? I would love for her to dibble and dabble into different genres I wouldn’t expect her to. I personally think that Bey can sing anything. I am really a stan for her talent! BTW, I agree that this next album is going to lead the industry into the next phase of where music is going. I hate saying these kind of things because people lump you into catergories and exaggerate where your coming from by making it out to seem as if your worshiping her. I’m clearly not, but I give her so much credit for not jumping on the generic dance bandwagon. I love that Bey is being an artist and being artistic! That is the sign of a true leader and that takes guts. It tells me that she still cares about creating and music as an art form. It’s not about getting that next hit! Some of these artist are not using their status to give them this leverage, where they can really make an impact on people. It’s so disappointing to hear mega stars releasing new music that sounds like they haven’t grown and evolve. It even sounds as immature as their first hit in some cases. Some of my favorites are in this box too! … but that’s why I love artist like Bey and Brandy because they never go backwards! This is why you’ll be remembered at the end of the day!

    I see people making top 10 list. I haven’t ever thought about ranking my favorite Bey songs, but I think the list would look somewhat like this.
    1. Me, Myself and I
    2. Dangerously in love
    3. Single Ladies
    4. Ego
    5. Scared of Lonely
    6. Halo
    7. Resentment
    8. Creole
    9. Smash into you
    10. Upgrade U
    * I know it’s Destiny’s Child, but I just love hearing Say my name (especially now, she’s amazing when she sings it as she matures).

    @Remmy, I don’t have anything on youtube yet… I will eventually. I’m sort of in the middle of writing /working on my screenplay, but I will wrap up my music by the end of next month. So I will have it out soon. I’m going to figure something out so that you can contact me, it might just come down to me getting Face book ( I’m terrible w/ that stuff, because I know I won’t really be on it), but when I do I’ll definitely give you my info.

  224. Speaks Truth February 3, 2011

    Wow can I ask everyone something do you feel that Beyonce is not an artist? Do you feel she is just generic artist who will be a #hasbeen in the next 5 or 6 years? Is that what you feel? Have you ever sat down and watch her “I AM Intimate” Tour when she perform “Resentment” “Sweet Dreams” acoustic those songs sent shivers down my spine. It’s crazy how folks will not give her her props, she’s a black women breaking white women charts and her own race still bash her. This shows what the world has become and soon as whoever 30 years old and up right now when those folks leave this world and the 80s & 90s are the oonly ones left in beyond then this world is certainly coming to an end and you best to believe that. I can’t believe still won’t give this “ICON” her props shes a female is that why? You hate to see a black women making money of her own and not needing a man? You don’t like to see a Black independent women is that it?? Yeah thought so #beyondslayed2011 #RoundIV

  225. Beyoncé: The Queen of Pop & Soul February 3, 2011

    My Beyonce Top 5 songs is:

    1. Upgrade U: Vintage Beyoncé riding a beat vocally at it’s finest, sans DC days

    2. Kissing You: I already spoken on the greatness of the bridge, how she uses her voice cresendoing the end of it. God, she slays my soul with that part.

    3. Disappear: The lyrics, the Harmonies, her D5 belt when the last chorus starts. Brilliant stuff

    4. Green Light: It’s to B’day, to what Disappear is to the I Am CD, of IASF. Live instruments, those staccato F5s runs at the end(Go, Go, Go, Gooooo). Just does things to my soul.

    5. Deja Vu: I love the MJ feel that the song gives and its the kind of song that gives me Old School Swing Jazz teas and still be modern and progressive.

  226. Royalkev February 3, 2011

    @ Speaks Truth, some of those points are very solid. I notice that Bey is always working twice as hard to get the credit she deserves. It may have a lot to do racism and sexism (some legendary artist are dealing with ageism). So, your absolutely right this does exist and it’s not something to ignore. I remember one time reading S***’s comments on her and he said that Bey was underrated. Some people gave him some flack because we all know that Bey is very successful, but I could only imagine if she was white how someone of her caliber would be praised. Perhaps, she would be called a legend. Who knows, but I definitely see her struggle with gaining respect. It’s happening over time(but it does seem reluctant). I think it’s sad that Beyonce may have some hate in the black community. I don’t always care for Rihanna’s music, but I would never wish that she fail. It’s nothing personal about disliking anyone for their lack of talent or their music which doesn’t impress you. We all have our own individual taste. It’s perfectly fine, not to love everything that the majority does. If someone’s hating because that person is successful, then that person should take a deep look within themselves… fast! That’s a problem. Still, I’m convinced Bey will leave her mark on the world after it’s all said and done!

  227. Speaks Truth February 3, 2011

    @ Royal Kev, Bravo and I just checked out your blog, very very interesting and you come up with some good topics, The topic that really pop out to me was rather you would still support your artist if they were gay??? I always wondered what would happen if some one like Chris Brown, Usher, Trey Songz, or even Lil Wayne said they were gay??? What would the fans do? You see it’s different if a female it’s all cool and easy to get ova but if a MALE does it specially a RAPPER I’m just curious to know what would happen?? Will people still support them?? Would there be this big war that come upon straight vs LGBT community it’s a good topic to discuss!!!

  228. Royalkev February 3, 2011

    ^ Thanks, Speaks truth, really appreciate all that you’ve said… Artist that come out in these times may still have it hard, but it’s really very common. There are alot of gay people in the industry … I don’t think it’s such a big deal personally, but today’s artist will definitely have some advantages and disadvantages. Fans will see that artist in a whole new light.

    As for Bey or anyone I like for that matter if I’m a fan of your music – I’m a fan, no matter what your selling and how the world receives you!

    @S***
    I put them all on the same level because they’re all the best at what they do.
    John Legend & R. Kelly are two of the best male R&B artists of this generation.
    Alicia Keys has had just about the same amount of success as Beyonce & has made just about the same amount of classic records. Usher is the male Beyonce, in just about every way possible.

  231. Remmy February 3, 2011

    I just add you on Bloggers…I’m JayHollywood…

  232. True Blue February 3, 2011

    @ Ariana:

    Exactly. Freddie was just on a whole ‘nother level that no artist will ever touch. I don’t care how hard one stans for Bey or any other current artist, they are not and will NEVER be as good as Freddie. And Michael as well. End of story.

    I swear S*** must either be a very clever troll or smoking some serious drugs. Hopefully it’s the former.

  233. LOL February 4, 2011

    So a picture of Beyonce has still managed to get almost 300 comments. It shows how PRESSED people really are. Is there a reason to put Beyonce down on a DAMN PICTURE. It’s not like it’s a video, a song or even a damn commercial.

    @SUGARANICE
    Um, Beyonce got all of her Grammy’s from her Destiny’s Child days? False. She only won 3 Grammy’s with Destiny’s Child. Pressed ass b****, she has 13 on her own. More than most have even gotten in their life time, she’s gained 13 Grammy’s solo in 8 years. You can stand in line with the rest of the pressed folk.

    I’m gonna sit here while you guys talk down the Queen while she gets paid another 87 million this year. It’s as simple as that.

  234. Royalkev February 4, 2011

    Lmao @ Lol.
    @ Remmy, I just followed your blog. I didn’t know you had one. I’m going to really check it out when I get a minute. I hope your Jay’s Hollwood, because that’s what came up (when I did a search) and not JayHollywood. If not I’m following the wrong guy! 🙂

    @LOL If you can read I never said she got all of her Grammy’s from Destiny’s Child. I said she got some of them from Destiny’s Child.

    The premise of the argument was did she deserve those Grammys?

  238. bria February 4, 2011

    You guys must be millionaires and really have your stuff in order. Because for you to praise, worship, and hold someone up the way you do this person here you have to be doing just as much with your life as she is doing with hers and if not then lord help you. Because you shouldn’t idolize another human being like this and before you all start saying I am not idiolizing her look the word up and find out what it means. Please seek help.
