I´m a Mariah and Whitney stan. I just can´t handle anymore those silly wars between fans of these two legends. they are so different it is stupid to going on with that. This is not 1990. The truth is they are the last real divas. After them no one has come close, not in talent and not in succes. That´s for damm sure. They are the vocal trinity with Celine, who also could slay every nowadays minidivas before her voice went too nasal.
In addition Mariah is a complete artists that makes great music since always. Please just go and talk shit about Rihanna, Kesha or Britney, not here. have some respect!!!

I love this woman! She is just apart of my life in a big way and I don’t even know her. I really can’t express how happy it makes me to see her looking good and staying healthy. I will always love that voice and appreciate her talents, but just seeing her so together is a blessing. It makes my day every time.

I’m not sure about Whit, because I didn’t peep her last album. However, I wouldn’t ask neither one to retire.
I just wish Mariah would make another album similar to Butterfly. That album, in my opinion, is the greatest in her catalog.

@ Kiddz. I love that song! It’s A Wrap is definitely one of the best tracks on Memoirs, that album had several great singles that should have been released.
I always felt that the original version of Up Out My Face should have been a single. I don’t dig the remix with Nicki, but video is cute.
Daydream is a good album, and I like that one better than Music Box. Music Box is probably my least favorite album.

There’s no indication she is working on her 8th studio album. Contacted someone at sony/arista and he said there’s “…no indication of that.” Stop believing shit peeps tell you 2nd or 3rd hand. However, there is proof she is attending Clive Davis’ PGG party on saturday, apparently singing a tribute to Dionne Warwick, her cuz who is being honored at the shindig.
Whitney always looking the mess!! LOL. That’s got to be her real hair and not a weave. No one wears a sloppy weave like that for last several years if fake. Whitney gots to be the most frugal diva alive!!! Same coat – check! Same boots – check! Same black turtleneck as at BET Honors last yr – check! Same bag for last 2yrs – check! One thing I can say about Whitney is that when its time to shine for the cameras such as events and award shows she always has her shit together! I have seen several pictures of all of your favorites and trust they do not always look 100% dolled up when they step out. So please STFU with that! It kills me how people can hate on people like her, and Mariah when clearly they are just like you and I. The difference is their bank accounts and talents. I respect a woman that keeps it real and does not give a f#ck of what we think of her.
You can tell she is truly blessed! And although she may not have sold 200 Million records (she not that far behind 170 Million) but she is the Most Awarded Female of All Times, the first Female to have a number one album, the first FEMALE ARTIST to have 7 Consecutive #1 hits (still unmatched today) Ummm and her movie The Bodyguard shits on any of your favorites movie. With records that span all over. She is still highly respected in the industry…you pay attention folks! So please stop hating she has shattered records and OPENED THE DOOR FOR ALL OF YOUR BITCHES!

Their source is supposedly someone’s friend who spoke directly to Whitney’s bff Kim Burrell who made the statement about recording a new album. We all know Kim aint official and becomes 2nd/tertiary info. Like I said, I contacted someone at arista/sony and he said “..havent heard of it.”

Whitney’s record sales 170 mil + havent been recertified since ’06 or ’07 so her sales to date is much higher. It does not include worldwide sales of ILTY album which is est. to sell over 3 mil shipped. I would say if they retallied everything from beginning of her career she have close to 180 mil now including both albums and singles.

Whitney learned from church and persons like Cissy Aretha and Dionne. Whitney NEVER IN HER CAREER DANCED IN BIKINI WITH HIGH HEELS, SHE IS SINGER. Diva is person with voice stage presence and great influence and respect from all. LA Times said for Whitney that her Voice is national treasure.
