I was so pissed and I asked my mom to let me sleep for 5 minutes, she agreed. My loud ass grandma gon’ yell at me for disobeying my mom and started to yell biblical scriptures at me. ITunes in terms of ALBUMS have little impact on sales. The UK is an example because it was high on iTunes all week but debuted at #10 due to lack of purchases from physical copies(still a good debut though). Many people buy physical copies of albums so itunes only really accounts for 10% of album sales on Billboard.

Not necessarily, I think it may have given him even more of a nudge, because his name dominated every news outlet for DAYS. So it brought the album to the attention of ppl who had no clue who may have become curious and realized they liked it, made haters curious and some of them ended up buying/tweeting and made supporters go even harder because we knew he would need it. And dont forget that his Charlie Sheen tweet woke a bunch of people the hell UP! And not just black ppl…although i wish more of us had woken up…I saw a lot of bragging on twitter about downloading/bootlegging/burning his stuff for free and jamming to it.

Over the weekend, I kept seeing one of those 3 ppl tweeting that same ish and told them to stop inciting violence against someone’s son, etc. You know they didn’t listen, but I had to try.
