Actually, I saw ShowBiz Tonite, Inside Edition, E! News, Extra all talked about it! Of course they brought up GMA, that’s what the messy media does! They all mentioned his great performance, the fact that he got a standing ovation and the ratings that made DWTS the No. 1 show that night! They mentioned that all of his ‘bad behavior’ has sparked interest in him and that has helped him get a No. 1 album! I am sure people were expecting him to get a ‘cold’ reception but instead he got a standing ovation. They couldn’t even front after that performance! The audience loved him, it was on TV for the whole world to see!
On ShowBiz Tonite they had Jane Velez Mitchell and another black lady who host a show on HGTV (can’t remember her name, but she has defended Chris before in the past) on there and they both gave him props for his performance! Jane, who is always talking about ‘the war on women’ on her wack ass show on HLN, actually said that she has no problem with him as a performer and that he is ‘great’ at what he does! She even said he needs to channel all of his anger into his craft and he will be fine! She has bashed him in the past before but she said that he is talented and she wishes him well! All of them said they question his behavior off the stage, but they can’t deny his talent on the stage!
Those 18.1 million viewers weren’t all neccessarily rooting for him to ‘fail’, but I am sure all this recent drama with him sparked people’s interest and made them tune in! A lot of people (white people) probably didn’t know who he was until this s*** with him and his ex that the media ran into the ground and then this most recent drama got him in the headlines again and the media wouldn’t let it go. People wanted to see who this dude was that was getting all this press, just like the people who tuned in to watch ‘Two & Half’ men after Charlie Sheen and all his shennanigans! People are fascninted with controversy and all publicity may not be ‘good’ publicity’ but it is publicity! It keeps his name out there and forces people to pay attention to his music and talent!
Although, I am sure MANY of the people that voted on those polls to have him banned tuned in and helped give the show it’s record ratings! Dumbasses!

My mother actually called me the next day and said she was surprised that no one on the morning shows mentioned DWTS!! She was like hummm, when that young man broke a window it was dicussed on every network and every program for 5 days (unlike the 1 day coverage they gave Charlie Sheen who completely destroyed the penthouse suite at the NY Plaza)! Now that he, “under great protest”, performed and did a spectatular job no one wants to mention it!…LOL I had to laugh!
It’s funny that it tool them 2 days to discuss the DWTS and thats only becuase the ND ratings indicated that that episode of DWTS between the hours of 9 -10pm registered 19.1 MILLION VIEWERS the largest viewing audience todate for that show and was the overall Tuesday evening ratings winner! THE HATERS HAD TO CATCH THEIR BREATH AND THINK ABOUT THEIR NEXT MOVE….LOL! They have thrown everything at this kid for 7 weeks and nothing seems to break his stride!

Well other talk shoows talking about DWTS rating and standing ovation that night is good. E! did do a video on it, I saw it on their site. No 273,000 is the TOTAL US sales. IN total digital sales were only like idk like less than 100k so lets say about maybe 60-80k is how much it contrubuted to F.A.M.E.’s overall sales in the US this week. The rest of F.A.M.E. sold was PHYSICAL copies. ITunes doesn’t really have a great effect on F.A.M.E.’s sales because more people brought a physical copy. Overall in general iTunes is the worse way to track sales because it only accounts for maybe like 10% of CDs sold at the least.
Worldwide though F.A.M.E. shifted over 300k in one week,

I hope Chris is really alright. Off topic but I hate how people assume that since these celebs are rich they should be held to a higher standard and it’s so contradicting for so many reasons. Overall we are all equal so if you have feelins and get upset so does anyone else. But the problem is when the people think a celeb got off too easy they get mad right? But aren’t these the same people who want these celebs to act like God? So if you are holding them to a bigger standard why get mad when they get it easier than you? You hold them to that standard.
Now I’m going to continue my rant not only that but people expect celebs to be happy because they have money. I find it sickening when I hear someone say something along the lines of “I’m not getting so and so album legally they got money already why make them rich” but those same people will be QUICK to get mad when they get up in Walmart and the cashier hands them a dime short of change talking about “I worked hard for that money, if you rip me off a dime you’ll rip me off a dollar next time” now not only is that the worst part of people’s opinions on celebs they expect happiness comes with money. But for obvious reasons it doesn’t. If Leroy went and beat up Latonka and cut Shalabae he would walk down the street like a normal dude but when a celeb does it depending on who it is(cough cough Chris) people stick it to them everyday of their lives. Which is upsetting espically when you feel guilty enough. I would hate to have stole a cookie at 7 and walk down the street and someone call me a theif everyday or ask me why I stole it.
The point of my rant is I don’t get why people think celebs should be expected to do more than they would in their personal lives. If you can say with a straight face you could live with half of the hate Chris Brown gets daily than you are clearly crazy because the average person couldn’t. People need to stop holding others to a higher standard unless prepared to walk a day in their shoes.
I wouldn’t be surprise if Chris Brown be number one next week! At least in the number two spot!

So it all depends on how F.A.M.E. is doing not so much digitally but with physical copies since that is where most copies of F.A.M.E. are being sold.

They had even said they had tried to get him to talk about GMA but he was strictly about music the night of the performance. I was happy with the standing ovation because I was nervous. That’s great! I was thinking maybe he would be at No. 3, but 4 isn’t bad. Especially with Britney (gag) and Wix (double gag) coming out this week.
