If we took the AVERAGE subjects of Nicki’s music vs Kim’s, you’d have this.
Nicki raps about love, overcoming struggles, her life, and who she is as a person. Kim raps about s**, her success, and money.
I’m not talking about her influences on NIcki’s clothing. That’s the problem, people care too much about the extras. I could care less about how Nicki looks. (For the record, NIcki’s clothes & wigs are better than Kims). I’m talking about MUSIC, which is all that matters. NIcki’s music is NOTHING like Kim’s in any way. Michael Jackson’s “Number Ones” is 2009’s third biggest-selling album, with 2.36 million according to SoundScan, while Lady Gaga’s “The Fame” is fourth with 2.24 million. Andrea Bocelli’s recent release “My Christmas” powered through 2.21 million in just nine weeks, making it the year’s fifth best. The soundtrack to “Hannah Montana: the Movie” is sixth (1.82 million), followed by the Black Eyed Peas’ “The E.N.D.” (No. 7 with 1.79 million), Eminem’s “Relapse” (No. 8 with 1.74 million), Jay-Z’s “The Blueprint 3” (No. 9 with 1.52 million) and Kings of Leon’s “Only By the Night” (No. 10 with 1.40 million).

I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE “Superbass!” This track is definitely one of the best singles on Pink Friday! It has such a nice, happy, hip-hop/poppy, upbeat, romantic, inspiring, feel to it and her singing voice sounds wonderful. Nicki is doing the damn thing right now! I can’t stand “Did it On Em.” That is one of the very few, weak singles on the album, but it is playing non stop on urban radio and that‘s good. She’s really a smart business woman. I don’t care for “Fly” with Rihanna, so I’m glad she switched it up when “Superbass” was getting praise from famous singers.
