That Grape Juice Interviews Jay Sean

Published: Tuesday 5th Apr 2011 by Trent

The infectious Pop sound of Jay Sean has become absolutely inescapable. However, little is known about the man behind several club anthems such as the 3x platinum monster hit ‘Down (Ft. Lil Wayne)’.

In this exclusive interview with That Grape Juice Jay discusses the concept of his highly anticipated ‘Freeze Time’ album, which will be released later this year, being signed to Cash Money Records, competing on the US charts and much more. Check out all the action above!

What do you think of the interview?

    I liked ur intro grapejuice…

JAY SEAN IS LAME NOW HE NEEDS TO GO BACK TO HIS ROOTS NOT THIS STUPID DANCE/POP YOUNG MONEY SHIZZZZ….

  7. Blanco Family April 4, 2011

so he think’s hes american now? hes not popping to me. we already have jason derulo and all the others.. hes not really neded sorry.

  8. Destroy4JaySean April 4, 2011

I love him so much. He makes great music. His singles don’t reflect the depth, emotion and realness on his albums. He makes too many party records now. But I’m still a fan. He’s been keeping me occupied until the Great One Justincredible Timberlegend re-emerges and graces the world with more epic music and Neyo decides to make better music again.

We don’t have need for Jason Derulo now that Chris Brown is back. He was a seat-warmer and its painfully obvious now.

But can he survive without collabos? His songs are all the same, formulaic and about 10 years past their time.

  12. Trevor April 4, 2011

His video for Turn On The Lights is embarring! It’s cheap looking & him standing there while his dancers dance was so awkward!

Did anyone else see that horrible video? I was actually embarrassed for him!

  13. Trevor April 4, 2011

  20. KaVion April 4, 2011

He knows his music is typical Pop and generic, that kind of bothers me. He seems like a good guy though.
