Okay…everyone flops…didn’t both Rihanna tour and album under perform last year? Yes her singles do well but it’s not good when you have to beg your fans to buy multiple copies. It happens to the best of them and the worst of them. This Beyonce’s first single, and although I am a huge fan of her’s I hate the single, so like @S*** says, Beyonce needs to know that she is to good at her craft to release singles like that…I don’t think Michael Jackson himself could make that single GIRL a hit. Hopefully her record label scraps this single and releases the second. Fourth #1 album on the way.

Then claim that you don’t like her. And to answer your question. NO i don’t think there is a huge difference, people promote albums in many different ways, if a contest is what it takes then do it. If you were the owner of a store, you would come up with whatever campaign you can to move your product right?
