Today marks the global release of Jennifer Lopez‘s seventh studio album ‘Love?’
The last 6 months have seen the diva experience a career rebound like no other in recent times. Characterized by a successful stint on American Idol, a worldwide smash in ‘On The Floor’, as well as a host endorsement deals, her every move has been calculated to ensure ‘Love?’ – her debut for new label Def Jam – re-establishes her chart force. Something which is looking like an increased likelihood.
However, as ever, we here at That Grape Juice are eager to look beyond the smoke and mirrors, and find out what you think.

Maybe not groundbreaking music, but it stands out because it’s not trying too hard to be anything too out of the ordinary.
Honestly, the only tracks on the album that I think stand out in J.Lo’s career on LOVE? are Until It Beats No More & Starting Over.
But I’m so happy she’s back. She’s hungry for success, unlike some other fellow stars we could name.
This is her best album since the “J.Lo” album!!! I love it! Especially “Papi” and “Hypnotico” and her voice is amazing on “Until It Beats No More”

She’s giving me Diddy Dirty Money with her new album. Some singles will stand out (which I will buy) but overall there’s no genuine concept behind the LP.
I already bought the deluxe version Friday 🙂
It really does look cheap, the album art leaves too much to be desired (an album cover can do wonders – ask Rihanna), though I like the RedOne assisted tracks. I’ll just buy the standard version on itunes.

She is signed to Island Records…which is a separate imprint from Def Jam, despite how both exist under the Island Def Jam Music Group. For people claim to be music industry pundits, you should know this. You do the same thing when you talk about Mariah. You cite her label as “Def Jam,” when it’s not. Both are signed to Island.
