After serving up solely laid back visuals from his ‘F.A.M.E’ LP, Chris Brown gets theatrical in the video for the project’s latest release ‘Next To You’.
The clip for the Justin Bieber assisted cut was shot this week at Universal Studios, California.
With ‘F.A.M.E’ already certified Gold, (and its campaign showing no signs of slowing), Brown really is racing towards Platinum status. And, with more than six videos released for the project to date, he is doing so with much ferocity.
One has to wonder where Brown’s success leaves the Trey Songz‘s of the world. Surely the car in the pic above mirrors his chart prospects at this point?

I can’t wait to see this video! After seeing them perform together, I think they work well together. This scene looks crazy. I’m happy he is using his video budget! That’s how it was in Vegas! I heard Yeah 3G about 7 times on EACH station, a day. It gets heavy airplay here in L.A. to. I don’t know if Vegas is playing She Ain’t You as much as they did Yeah 3x because I’m in L.A now, but it’s not getting as much airplay as it should in L.A.
I love all music, urban, pop, rap, but what pissed me off is people don’t count urban music as hits. Like the urban charts are not important, so all the awards shows that cater to black people like , BET, IMAGE AWARDS, SOUL TRAIN, SOURCE AWARDS SHOWS are not that important, why not, you are being recognize by your couture. Yeah 3x actually gets a whole lot of airplay, but certain radio station are more important than some and billboard use top 40 radio stations for pop. It took months for one of the top 40 station to play yeah 3x, I mean the song sold over 1 million. All the urban stations pick up Chris urban songs, that is why they did well, but the top 40 stations most of them still don’t play his music. Beautiful People and Yeah 3x was in the top 10 in the UK, but in the US it only was in the top 20 on the hot 100. I hope he can get past the ban that some station have on him.

No promo, no video no NOTHING and debuted that high! It already has 6 million views on Youtube! People are waiting for it’s release & the video is sure to be a hit as well! THIS!! People kill me trying to act like his No. 1’s on the r&b charts don’t count! Alicia Keys’ had a No. 1 on the r&b charts for 13 weeks! Did hers not count? Honestly there are times that I can barely hear on JB on the song.
Chris is dominating the charts right now and he has more records nad features than any other artist out right now period! Face it, two years ago people said his career was over and now he is back shitting on everyone! Deal with it!

The Trey Songz shade was so unneccessary I mean it’s no secret he did get shine while Chris was down but it’s one thing if him and Trey were rivals but they’re friends and Trey actually stood by Chris when his career was at it’s worst. So I see no reason to shade Trey Songz unless one of his stans try to come at TeamBreezy on this post.

Umm I didn’t know She Ain’t You flopped…not really…the song wasn’t even officially released to itunes and it sits #53 on Billboard….not spectacular but decent since it’s obvious it’s not getting too much attention because of Next To You and due to the fact Look At Me Now is still #9 on Billboard and like #11 on itunes(idk why it’s slaying She Ain’t You *sigh*). But anyways I guess the haters gotta hate *shrugs*
This song though…I love it and it’s gonna get him and Justin alot more success I just don’t like the fact that he won’t get all of the shine from the song…I mean sure everyone will know it as him and Justin’s song but as a greedy stan I want him to have all the credit…like She Ain’t You deserved. I feel like they should have released She Ain’t You after Next To You and after Look At Me Now you know actually died out on the charts….I hate when one single doesn’t get the attention it deserves but oh well.

Yes! This is one of my fave songs from the album and I must admit although I was never a fan of JB, he did his thing on the record. I give props where props are due, he sounded good and his voice seems to have matured a bit. I definitely think he carried hiw weight on the record but I also fear that when it becomes a hit, people are gonna say it’s because of JB.
When FAME first came out and it shot up itunes, I was going thru JB’s mentions on twitter & all of his fans were saying Justin Bieber’s song and not giving Chris credit! I mean hell it’s on CB’s album! Those Beliebers are annoying as hell but at the same time they are gonna help with the success of the song. They go hard and with TeamBreezy this song is definitely going No. 1.
I’m not too pressed cause I knew it was gonna be a hit and I truly believe Chris carries the record. Plus he has writing credits on it as well. JB doesn’t! Lol!

SMH @speechless – check the billboard charts, CB album is ranked higher than BS album and he has been out 1 week longer than hers. Almost (if not all) CB weekly sales have been outselling her equivalent weekly sales (eg. their album release 1st , 2nd, 3rd week……) and now he has surpassed her in the same week.
I think the only reason Britney album went platinum is because her worldwide sales is better than Chris I think she sold about 900,000 world wide already and Chris sold 731,000 world wide, but Chris US sales is better than Britney.

You can’t go platnium worldiwde. You can only be certified for a country. So her ww sales don’t get her certified in the US. Britney went platnium because certifications are based off of RIAA which the label is a part of that proccess and it’s based of of shipments of the album. she SHIPPED 1 million copies. Like how Chris was certified Gold before he sold 500k.
Do your thing , Chris because it want be long and he will be PLATINUM!!
