Whitney Houston seemed to be in good spirits today when she was snapped heading into a Los Angeles medical center.
The images come a day after the icon’s rep revealed that she had checked herself into a rehabilitation facility for treatment of drug and alcohol dependancy.
On a positive note, Houston is set to star in the big budget sequel to ‘Waiting to Exhale’, ‘Getting to Happy’ – which begins filming later this year.

I’m glad she is going to do this before they start filming the movie.
I’m sure she is going to go to the gym and get that body fit for the screen. I love the fact everybody signed back on for the sequel. all the women are going to look great. I know the fashion is going to be kicked up 1000 notches… a more grown and sexier “SEX N THE CITY”

She looks great! It breaks my heart to read some of the hateful comments said about her on blogs. She is truly a great person and what’s even sadder is she rarely gives interview and won’t defend herself.

I like Whitney. People shun her for being on drugs and now they shun her for visiting medical centers. I am happy for her. A new movie role to work on, not being afraid to continue to seek medical help, and signing a new contract. Now if she would only get on the smoking patches and stop smoking newports. Then she would start getting ready for vocal lessons.
