Pop eccentric Lady GaGa, again, lived up to her billing as she attended a press conference in Tokyo, Japan today. Held at Billboard LIVE, the singer was in town to support the MTV Video Music Aid Japan – using her ‘celebrity’ status “remind the world that Japan is safe” and urged tourists to return.
As many know, the country suffered a catastrophic earthquake on March 11th. More pics below…

That is some bs…I hate her new album…. otherwise I love GaGa, but she is telling people the wrong thing….Both the US and Japanese governments and media have been lying about the severity of the nuclear crisis from the very beginning….I suggest that people do some research using alternative media before hopping on a plane to Tokyo. I understand that MTV & GaGa’s hearts may be in the right place by telling people to to patronize Japan, but they are putting people’s health at risk. There are reports of people in the Northwestern USA (i.e. Washington, Oregon, etc.) who are experiencing radiation sickness symptoms, but they want you to go 100 miles from ground zero. SMH…. I know I wont be going…..
I think she needs to get more serious about album sales. Sometimes being “eccentric” all the time causes an artist to lose commercial sales and appeal. Lady Gaga is suffering from that right now. She forgot that music is a sales business and you have to appeal to a wide audience. Constantly trying to be different gets old and that is what is going on with her.
