R&B veteran Maxwell treated fans to renditions of some of his well loved music recently, on VH1′s storytellers. In the Metropolis Studio of New York City, he performed ‘Get To Know Ya’, ‘Pretty Wings’ as well as the toe tapping ‘Sumthin’ Sumthin”

No sweetie this just aired last night on VH1, it was only recorded a couple weeks ago. The only people who would have seen it before last night are those who were at the recording.

Definitely the king of soul, so smooth, and his sound is smooth and timeless, his songs from his first album 15 years ago still resonate today, the show totally made my Friday night. It was great.
