Nicole Scherzinger has cause to celebrate today, as her single ‘Right There’ has risen by a whopping 11 places on the Official UK Top 40 singles chart. The sensuous track received a heavy promotional push this week when the singer made an appearance on ‘The Graham Norton Show‘ days ago and at the Capital FM Summertime Ball today.

Making its way to the #3 position, the single which sat at #14 last week is now two spots closer to the #1 position. Her album ‘Killer Love’ was also shown love by UK music consumers who helped it leap 13 places to #22 after spending a dozen weeks in the chart.
Scherzinger was recently named as a judge on X Factor USA, replacing anti-singer Cheryl Cole after no more than a week of filming.
Elsewhere in the UK charts, Chris Brown‘s ‘Beautiful People‘ slid down by 4 spots to the #11 position and Jessie J’s ‘Nobody’s Perfect‘ slipped one place to #12 after entering the chart three months ago.
Fans of UK music must not have been impressed with the quality of Rihanna’s ‘California King Bed’ as it took a turn for the worst this week, falling by 7 places to the #15 spot. However, her album ‘Loud‘ remains #1 on the R&B album chart after 30 weeks.
Meanwhile, Nicki Minaj‘s ‘SuperBass’ which was #22 in the country last week has now made it’s way up by three chart positions to #19.
Adele’s album ’21′ is a non-mover, remaining at the #2 position whilst Lady GaGa‘s ‘Born This Way‘ falters by two positions now placed at #3.
