After much speculation and undeniable media spin, an official announcement has been made regarding the judging panel of the X Factor USA.

In a joint press release, Fox, Fremantlemedia and Syco TV said:
“Nicole Scherzinger will be replacing Cheryl Cole on the judging panel of The X Factor.
Nicole will join Simon Cowell, L.A. Reid and Paula Abdul on their search across America to find the next global superstar or group to win the life-changing $5 million dollar recording deal.
Nicole has previously joined Simon Cowell as a guest judge on The X Factor for the UK version of the show in 2010. Steve Jones will act as sole host of The X Factor.”
And there, folks, you have it. It’s great to see an end to the farce that was Cheryl’s signing. Perhaps now she’ll hustle the way far more talented acts have to. That, or she could just re-join Girls Aloud - as its being widely reported she will.
The plight of the marginally talented. Oh well.

So basically, they only signed Nicole because Cheryl chose NOT TO come back… Americans do not even like Nicole… And she is hardly talented… And hasn’t Cheryl sold more solo records than Nicole?????

GOOD LUCK TO NICOLE AND GOOD RIDDANCE TO CHERYL COLE! Nicole is very talented and know what she talking about because she’s been in the industry for years. Did Cheryl think she had a chance? She must thick, stupid and naive to think that she will get this gateway to success. You can’t cheat success. Being Simon’s lapdog gets you only so far in life. I think it’s time for a reunion of Girls Aloud.
But this whole thing was a PR stunt for XF USA they wanted people to talk about show to create hype around it. But XFACTOR UK and American Idiot still beats XFACTOR USA. Kelly and Gary are great additions and Jlo and Steven have been great on AI too.

What’s not being reported is that whoever this Cheryl chick is still getting paid her $1.5 million dollar fee regardless. So I dunno who this heaux is but she is def winning. She only worked two weeks. I wouldn’t mind being dismissed either. Now can we stop seeing posts about her? Nobody in America knows who she is and I get the impression from the kids across the pond they don’t care for her too much either.
