Leading the assault is his reported new single ‘My Bed’, reportedly produced by Chef Tone.

Yours truly can just about accept Mario’s insistence on singing about sex all the time. However, it becomes problematic when he is unable to top the brilliance that was his third studio album ‘Go’. For, all the singles and albums that have followed the classic R&B set have paled in comparison. Indeed, they have sounded either boring, contrived, or both. This, unfortunately, included.

I WAS A FAN OF HIM WHEN I WAS YOUNGER, IN LIKE 5TH AND 6TH GRADE.
I HATE THAT HE’S GETTING AWAY FROM WHAT MADE HIM A STAR WHICH WAS HIS VOCALS. ALL THAT TECHNOLOGY DOUBLING, AND VOCAL DOUBLING AND CHOPPING IS UNNECESSARY. HOW WOULD HE PERFORM IT? IT ALSO SOUNDS LIKE SOMETHING USHER WOULD DO.
Unless he is ill he really should grow a beard or something. He looks comical.
I think the track is hot though.

Anywho, I think most of ya’ll are exaggerrating. I didn’t think it was that bad, I can see it getting play on the radio & I am sure after hearing it 100 times it will grow on people. I do get tired of all the s** themed songs but he certainly is not the only one doing it and it doesn’t seem like it is gonna go anywhere for a while. *shrugs*
He honestly doesn’t even sound like himself here. Kinda like Usher mixed with J Holiday. IDK. He just doesn’t sound like himself. I do like Mario, he’s talented & I think he has a beautiful voice and is underrated but sadly I just think he is one of those dudes that doesn’t stand out. He’ll have a solid hit every few years but that just isn’t enough to get people’s attention. I wish him luck though. *shrugs*
