Although ‘Just Dance’ singer Lady Gaga‘s guest stint on FOX’s ‘So You Think You Can Dance’ was confirmed earlier this summer, official reports have surfaced revealing the airdate of her appearance.

The ‘Judas’ singer is set to judge on Wednesday (July 27) and Thursday (July 28) night’s show. As if her scheduled performance on Thurday night’s show is not enough, Gaga is also gearing up for a stop on ‘Jimmy Kimmel Live’ (also airing July 28th).
Hate her or love her, there’s no denying the woman is a promo machine! You’d think she had an album out every week at the rate she works – easily, the hardest working woman in showbiz.

1. Gaga can’t dance herself and even said she’s not a dancer, but she does have an album to sell so much like the other guest judges she’ll comment on an art form she knows nothing about for the sake of people buying her CD.
2. She’ll wear some silly costume that detracts from the people the show is about and instead puts all attention on her. Bets should be placed now to which Gaga we’ll see: green hair, turquoise pubes, black and blonde…
3. You know when she’s judging she’s going to sound like an utter space case.

no shade to Madonna’s daughter, but i think any guest judge on that show should be an accomplished or ‘well known’ dancer. and Gaga is not one. so how is she going to make fair and correct judgement.

Even though Gaga might not be what you call a ‘born dancer’ type of artist, I believe in her ability to assess the performances from an artistic perspective. That said, however, I do think she will probably go easy on the contestants because she’s always too nice to critique, she’s always hesitant to pass judgement on someone, unless it’s all about praise.
I know she needs to promote, but she’s going to get all the attention, instead of people focusing on the dancers.
