R&B crooner Miguel recently traveled to New Orleans, Louisiana to perform at Day 1 of the 2011 Essence Music Festival. At a ceremony held a few weeks ago, the ‘Sure Thing’ singer won an ASCAP Award for his writing credits on Jaheim’s 2010 single ‘Finding My Way Back’. Miguel also recently shot a video for next single ‘Quickie’, which has peaked at #31 on Billboard R&B/Hip-Hop song charts, thus far.

Lord knows I love me some Miguel (ESPECIALLY since he’s one of the few males out that’s making solid music consistently) but those clothes he has on look like they’re cutting his circulation off! Did he get the ensemble from the Baby Gap? And what’s up with the hair cut son? I’m going to need for him to get off the “different train” and get some clothes that don’t look hazardous to his health.
