But now that On The Floor smashed, they believe in her,,, and that’s why they are lining up 2 singles and actual promo. Anyway, I’m Into You was serviced to radio 3 weeks ago and it’s been on BB Hot 100 based on airplay alone ever since

I wouldn’t like Papi to be released, though. It was released as a promo single and had adequately strong digital sales, then a portion was used for the I’m Into You video and whoever liked this sample could search for the song, so I don’t know if it’s a good choice. I think it’s going to be Hypnotico/Invading My Mind and maybe Good Hit

She said she’s gonna go on tour in past interviews… she didn’t mention it here. She said she’s gonna film TWO movies?? I bet you guys she will NOT be touring, and say that the movies kept her too busy to plan a tour..like in the past. I don’t think she can sell out arenas..maybe theaters?? I don’t know about her. I think LOVE? flopped because she doesn’t get out there and promote. Just because she was an Idol judge doesn’t mean people will run to buy her album. I think it’s all bad timing. She should have waited until after Idol to put out the album. If the timing had been better, she would have sold more than 80,000 on the first week. Singles-wise, I hope Papi is not the 3rd single. She needs to put out Hypnotico or Good Hit! Those would smash!! I wish her all the luck in the world.

I think media outlets were calling it a flop because with her exposure on Idol and success of On The Floor, they thought it’d hit #1. Though it’s not really a flop. She’s done better than her last couple of cds. I do agree, she probably should have released towards the end of Idol. Maybe that’s why she’s unsure of coming back. It makes it hard to promote. But for someone who people were making fun of when she fell on the AMAS and a record company not behind her where she had to switch, she really is in the zone and doing well. Though I disagree it’s the era of singles. The success of Adele and Taylor Swift is debunking that thinking. Even Gaga’s cd, as controversial as it was hitting #1, it has not had a load of singles but sold a million. So you’re seeing record companies restructuring trying to get a hit cd. A lot of singles artists that have relied on that better be careful. A change is coming. With that said, that’s why Jlo is heavily promoting herself. If cds don’t sell, #1 single or not, you’re out.
Good Hit or Starting Over (maybe Hypnotico) would probably do well…
No matter her album sales, Jennifer Lopez is still doing her damn thang, and doing it well.
How many people thought “On The Floor” was going to be in the Top 30 of iTunes 5 months after its release. Yeah. By far my FAVORITE song of the year to say the least!
As for the future–I am going to NEEEED her to return to Idol, please do that. It would be another great way for exposure, and hell release another single and perform on Idol again, I know I wanna see more of JLo on Idol. Steven was funny at times, but I loved the panel-ALL 3 TOGETHER, Shania Twain and Shakira cannot have the chemistry they all had. ESPECIALLY not Shakira-fail, wannabe JLo ass!
As for next singles, “Papi” is such a hot song, it could easily become as big and chart as high as “On The Floor,” seeing as tho it has a similar sound and great for clubs just like “OTF.” And if sales for it don’t pick up after a HOT ass choreo-heavy video, maybe drop a remix with someone, maybe like Sean Paul, or someone.
4th single I would definitely be going with “Hypnotico.” Unless that’s the third choice, then just swap the order-both songs are hot, and better than “Invading My Mind,” but that could do well too. Ahhh, so excited for these next singles!
THIS ALBUM, is not done whatsoever, best (Dance) Pop album of this year, especially for the music lovers of the early-mid 2000s!

I think she should go back to Idol. It gives her exposure to a new generation of audiences. But I have to say at 40 her performances have been putting younger artists to shame. I’m glad to see her back. She’s a smart business woman. And On The Floor is my favorite song of the year so far.
She’s a smart woman, but she needs to focus on what really matters. She needs to do way more promo than what she’s done. She has two hits and there will probably be a third, but she needs to go perform the songs in the US especially/
