The song sounds like something left on the cutting room floor during Kanye West’s ‘My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy’ recording session, and that’s not a bad thing. No word yet if this will appear on Ocean’s upcoming EP, ‘nostalgia, LITE’, or if this is just a throw away track. Either way, it’s a great listen.

It’s pretty decent, nothing spectacular to me. Too much autotune & I can barely hear his voice but the production is great. It does sound like something leftover from one of Kanye’s album, but I think it sounds more like it would have been on ‘808’s & Heartbreaks’ rather than ‘MBDTF’. It definitely sounds like that depressing overly autotuned s*** that Kanye was releasing during that period in his life. *shrugs*
He is talented & I like a lot of his material (mostly what he has written for other artist) but I still can’t see myself supporting him after the way he came at Breezy. That really turned me off. When & IF his album ever comes out, I will probably download just like I did his mixtape.

Yaaaasssss! I LOVE that song! It has been on repeat since I first heard it! I didn’t want to like it when I found out it was written by his ass but I can’t front, I really like it. I don’t think it will get single treatment though, it ‘s too slow but & it’s barely 3 minutes long. Bey should go with something more uptempo for her next single.
I feel Frank is dope songwriter, but I would much rather prefer to hear his songs sung by other artist. His vocals just do nothing for me.

Been listening to Frank Ocean (aka Lonny Breaux) and Midi Mafia work together since 08… they’ve done MUCH better before. This song needs Dapo guitars on it. But, I gave this one a hot vote, anyway.
and @Kids With Guns it’s not possible that Frank Ocean didn’t like both of the artists that Chris Brown compared him to, because one of them (James Fauntleroy) was on his mixtape. As for his feelings about Kevin Cossom, I don’t know.
Good song, but that autotune does not go with it.

And we all know his dance moves are what get him attention the most! That is why MJ himself wanted Chris to perform the tribute for him at the WMA’s back in 2006!
When Frank gets a platinum album, single, sells out a show, headlines his own tour or gets ANYTHING on the charts himself then you can act like he is the s***! Until then, you can STFD & STFU!
Chris is winning while Frank is working behind the scenes and is still on the come up. You can continue to swing from Frank’s nuts all you want but my fave has proven himself while Frank still has yet to do so.
