Hip-Hop heavyweight Drake looks set to generate plenty a headline with his aptly titled new single…‘Headlines’. Produced by Boi-1da and Noah ’40’ Shebib, the cut serves as the eagerly awaited first single from the Young Money star’s sophomore set ‘Take Care’ (due October 24th).
With all eyes on the Canadian-bred rapper (particularly in light of high-profile releases from Kanye West and Jay-Z), it begs the question: can he live up to the hype?

This is siiick! what i love about Drake is that even the random tracks he throws out there like Marvins Room, What If I Kissed You and Dreams Money Can Buy could all be huge hits! this is lyrically really strong and well produced not as catchy as the tracks that i’ve mentioned but still a deffo fire joint!
I don’t like it as much as I liked Marvin’s Room but it might grow on me if I decide to listen to it again.
I hated Marvin’s Room….I like this a little better….but he’s starting to sing way to much…..

Drake it’s my soulmate. I love his music. Strong lyrics, come straight from his mind and his heart. He’s the best for me. Marvin’s room, and others song are particulars and I like the way he takes.. Makes different from other rappers.

It’s good, but his songs sound to similar. You can definitely see that Weezy has influenced him.

@NIKKI that would make him cheap as hell lol but it might be the case. I mean certainly he hears himself when they play it back to him. That’s why I think it just may be a case of people in his team building up his ego a bit too much.

Seriously???Where is the rapping part in the whole song???This is just (bad) singing to me.The lyrics are nothing special either (another rapper talking about himself and his money, wow)and the beat is pretty poor too.I own his debut and it’s a good album, but I liked nothing from what he’s brought out ever since.

Damn it. I don’t like it. I don’t have a problem when he sings because I loved Find Your Love but I like when he goes hard with the rapping. The chorus is catchy but that doesn’t do anything for me. I tuned out……

I like it, BUT, dude’s music sounds the same! It’s hard to tell one song from the other, maybe he needs to change his singing style? Still like it though, however I prefer marvins room more coz it’s so different from typical drake, and this while good, is still typical drake!

I don’t know why he never made “Marvin’s Room” the first single…Everybody loved that…He waited too late to release it on iTunes when everybody done downloaded that song for free…smh…A MESS….I like this song though and I’m sure when the radio plays the hell out of it , it will eventually grow more on me
See, Drake cannot sing! At least Kanye abandoned it after one album and his stuff was way better than Drakes. Marvin’s room is better sung by everyone else than Drake because he cannot sing.
I’m liking the beat of this song but the nasal auto tuned voice is putting me off. Drake = overexposed its tie for the Frank Oceans to take over.

The beat is quite relaxing and the lyrics are pretty good. I don’t know if this will make a hit, but it sounds good to me.
I can take Drake on other people’s stuff..but a whole album of him, I’ll pass..gets tiring..he’s not as diverse as Kanye and not risk-taking like Nikki Minaj, yes I said, Nikki took a big risk doing straight up pop and she’ good at it…Drake alone bores me..really
