Following the success of current single ‘Don’t Wanna Go Home’, Pop force Jason Derulo has unveiled the cover for the album it’ll be housed on – his sophomore effort ‘Future History’.
With the LP due in stores on September 27th, Forever 21 serves up ‘It Girl’ as the project’s next offering, the accompanying video for which slated to arrive any day now. {Source}
As for the cover, I’m going to need Jason to stop with the MJ poses, dancing, and what have you. There’s acknowledging those who paved the way for you, and then there’s over-doing it to the point you have no identity of your own.
In any case, are you checking for Mr Derulo this go round?

When he started, Jason Derulo tried to fill Chris Brown shoes but now he’s doing his own thing and it works for him.
I’m pretty sure he pays homage to people who inspired him but of course ThatSamJuice won’t let this young brother be.
This is one of the best covers I have seen lately, very fresh and popping (finally he throwed the hat and plz someone tell me where the pants are from) people know what to expect if they buy the album.

For once, I agree with Sam (unbelievable right?). Jason’s complete package is swagger jacked from a collection of artists. When I hear him or see him, I can’t help but think of other artists. His songs are covers and samples of other works. His style and dancing is reminiscent of Michael. Where is the originality?
We all talk about how we never expected KeSha or Rihanna to last as long as they did in the industry….but I can’t believe he is on album 2. His songs are decent for singles….but album worthy? Am I missing something?

The cover does look exactly like and MJ pose. I won’t be buying the album though because his sound is to autotuned for my liking. He has catchy singles, but I wouldn’t want to listen to a whole album like that.
