‘Too Little Too Late’ singer Jojo took time to chat with MTV about her now famed remix of Drake hit ‘Marvin’s Room’. While both stars are prepping the release of their own respective albums (‘Take Care’, ‘Jumping Trains’), Miss Levesque shared his thoughts on her viral remake as well as her inspiration for redoing the song.

Back on topic, that cover gave her a hell of a buzz so it would be very clever of her to release 2 lead singles; one pop and one r’n’b song.Her voice is very versatile, so she can definetely pull that off.
I LOVE JoJo and she had the best cover of Marvin’s Room. I really like her new song DIsaster I can’t wait for Jumping Trains!

i loved the remix, too. they should do a song together. not really feelin her new song tho. wish she had released a more R&B song.
Yes Disaster sounds dated Limbo shits on it with the buzz surrounding the remix and her being such a Aaliyah and Drake fan i would have loved for the two to get together and do a Are you that somebody type of song Urban with crossover apeal, kind of like Aaliyah used to do in the 90s.

I love Jo Jo bt that dark hair on her is killing me! I wish she would lighten it up cause it just washes her out. That dress isn’t doing anything for me either. It’s not flattering on her.
Anywho, her version of ‘Marvin’s Room’ is by far my favorite! She killed it and I don’t care what anyone says, it’s better than Drake’s version! He may have been the originator but I just can’t stand his flat monotone voice. It irks my sould. JoJo’s vocals were just so smooth, and I think her lyrics were better. But I guess since I’m a girl I just naturally like her version better cause it’s from the prospective of a girl. *shrugs*
Hopefully with the buzz she got from her version of ‘Marvin’s Room’ and all the attention she is getting on blogs now she will have enough of a push before her album drops. Wishing her luck.

I loved her version of Marvin’s room. I agree about her releasing two singles. She had such a huge buzz around her when her Marvin’s room cover came out! Her new song Disaster is growing on me a lot. BTW I think she looks fierce with dark hair. : Brings out her face more. :p
