Just months after it was confirmed that ‘Motivation’ singer Kelly Rowland would be touring with ‘FAME’ performer Chris Brown on the latter part of 2011, dates for the concert showings have been confirmed today much to the delight of their respective fans.
The live concert performances come in support of their respective LPs which both enjoyed top ten positions on the Billboard 200 when they were released earlier on this year.

I figured she was only gonna do certain dates but damn! She is only gonna be on like half the tour! I guess she is gonna be busy with the X-Factor though.
I see she is not coming to my city either. Damnit Kelly! I actually wanted to see her perform live. I still don’t have her album and I probably won’t get it cause I really don’t like it but I was wanted to see her perform some of the songs off the album. Oh well.
I wonder if CB is gonna add another act to the show to replace Kelly on the shows that she can’t attend. I do like Tyga but he & TPain aren’t exactly acts that can attract an audience. teambreezy are you excited as hell for this concert. Im still waiting for my oct2nd date to be released so I can pay for my concert ticket. Im either getting the gold or silver package. Mostly likely gold its about $349. (silver is 199 w/ sound check and memborilla but your not front row your like in 11- 20) I have waited too long I have to be in the front. Gold package has sound check and front row seats and memorabilia . I love chris and all but im college student I cannot afford $ 549 for a premium package. I really wanted to do meet and greet. But hey If God favors me with extra money I will get them.

Mobwife, I'd like to ask you something, why is Kelly Rowland on this "F.A.M.E" tour? I mean, she was NEVER able to move units, here in the U.S. as a solo artist. She's NEVER had a Platinum single/CD – at least NOT according to RIAA. So what's the rational/logic to include her?
Now some will say: "Oh, but she's H-U-G-E in Europe..!!" But the facts/figures betray that logic. You see, she's, "to date", best sold in 2002 when she released "Simply Deep". It was THEN, some almost 10-YEARS AGO, that she was able to move Worldwide units – 2-Million. So then, her next release was in 2007 "Ms. Kelly" when she then moved 1.2-Million units. Don't you see the pattern of…"diminishing returns"? So now, according to mediatraffic, she's fell off the Top-40 Worldwide charts!
To me, it seems as though she's pinning all her hopes on her being that "X-Factor sitting judge/mentor". She's reasoning that her being a judge, given that platform, with her "contract clause" that allows her to then perform "Here I Am" material, will renew/re-spark interest in that said CD. But there has to be a "synergy" from the U.S. (Buzz/Sales) to that spark/re-spark interest on the U.K. charts, no? I mean, especially since folks don't have to wait for music to be released in different countries – with the 'net, once it's released in one place, it's released at that very instant EVERYWHERE..!!
..Also, just look at how badly she-herself/management/label handled the timing of her "Here I Am" single releases, videos, promotion! I'm NO "industry insider", but the entire "Here I Am" roll-out seemed.."jumbled, bumbling, clumsy and amateurish"!
Less-than 150K Worldwide after 3-weeks speaks VOLUMES! What happened? She had lots of momentum going into this release that should have pushed sales…
1.) The Anti-Beyonce/Matthew Knowles sentiment (guess we can dismiss, and do away with, those "Matthew Knowles held me back arguments, eh?")
2.) The dark-skin sista-gyrls unite – "I have a white man, which finally completes me" sentiments.
3.) "Motivation" being atop the charts for all that time (but just whose song was it: hers or Wayne's?).
4.) That much-hyped BET performance (even her "industry peers" chimed-in and lavished heaps of praise upon her performance).
I mean, she had EVERYTHING going for her… So, what happened? (I'll tell you EXACTLY…"what happened"). (As I'd said) "What happened" was the 'discretionary-spending public's' realization what Matthew Knowles had LONG-ago realized: Kelly Rowland is NOT "star/leading-lady/headline" material! She has ZERO "stage presence" (the harder she tries, to then-prove you wrong, the more it shows)! She can't sing (EXTREME WEAKNESS)! She can't dance (Kelly and Rihanna: "Sisters Of The Broke Feet")! This is why Matthew Knowles kept both her and Michelle Williams: Ladies-In-Waiting( to be seen, but NEVER heard), at DC's Golden Girl: Beyonce's, beck and call!
This why he was FORCED to get rid of Farrah Franklyn and Latoya Luckett: at the very least, Beyonce's equals in look AND talent!
Kelly Rowland adds NOTHING to the "F.A.M.E" tour. If anything, her very presence, as a "non-performing" entity, will detract from the hype, noise and buzz that his tour needs; have you recently looked "F.A.M.E" sales? He needs A-L-L the hype, hysteria, buzz he can possibly carry (ain't never seen Eagles fly with cinder blocks tied to their wings; have you?)..

Whoever posted that first comment is doesn’t know what their talking about. You make more money on Tour for one, and plus shes touring with Chris Brown who is HOT at the moment. So as long as she gives a good consistent performance she could potentially pick up ALOT more fans to follow her in the US Market. Plus she can drop the video while she’s on Tour.
