Well….Christina & Leona are incredible singers and Smokey Robinson is dope but those other fools get a *side eye*. JLS?!?!? Really? I’m sure they are gonna add other names to the list but as of right now it’s looking like it is gonna be lame.
For all the people saying Chris he was asked, but has already announced that he wasn’t going to be able to participate because he is gonna be on tour and he has a show the day it is supposed to air.
Like I said the other post, I really think they are over doing it with the tributes at this point. No one can stop the family from honoring thier brother & son, but it just looks like they are capitalizing off his name. Its been two years since he has died and they’re STILL doing tributes! Every damn award show on the planet has done a tribute to him already and he had the big memorial concert back in 2009, what else is there left to do? Pretty much every big name in the business was at the memorial back in 2009. Mariah, Usher, Stevie Wonder, Lionel Richie, Elizabeth Taylor, EVERYBODY! All of his family and people that were close to MJ were there (CB was there but didn’t perform for obvious reasons) and they all got a chance to pay their respect and it was broadcast all over the world! I can understand if they were gonna do one on like the 10 year anniversary of his death, but now after all the other recent tributes it just seems pointless.
Janet did her thing at the VMA’s and killed it, and of course Breezy shut the stage down at the BET Awards last year. I don’t care what anyone says no one will be able to top those two performances, ESPECIALLY CB’s tribute! It was amazing!!
They may be able to pull some big names together but I doubt they are gonna be able to top any of the other tributes or pull in a crowd like at the 2009 memorial. If they announce some names like Usher, Prince or Beyonce maybe I will be interested but as of right now…..blah.

I don’t understand why people are saying Rihanna. No shade to her stans but what the hell is she gonna do? She is not a good dancer or vocalist? What exactly is she gonna do? Chris, Usher, Janet, Ciara, would kill a dance tribute. They great performers.
Christina, Leona, Mariah, Beyonce Patti are all great vocalist although I don’t really consider them performers. I could see Ne Yo, Alicia and even Bruno. They would all be dope as well.
So how exactly does Rihanna fit into any of those categories? I understand she is a ‘superstar’ but that doesn’t mean she is fit to do a MJ tribute! Unless she is just gonna make an appearance. *shrugs*
I honestly don’t even mind that CB can’t participate in it. He has paid respect to MJ more when he was alive than half the artist mentioned. CB paid tribute to MJ in his 2007 VMA performance, he performed Thriller at the WMA’s tribute back in 2007 and of course the BET Awards last year and countless other tributes at his own concert, especially during his FAT back in 2009. He has paid his respects to MJ countless times and we all know he feels about MJ.
I’m not gonna say if he does make an appearance I’m not gonna watch but I don’t think he is gonna be there so I am not pressed. I am actually not pressed about the tribute concert at all. THe UK fans can have this.

3T is a group consisting of Michael’s brother Tito’s sons (Mike’s NEPHEWS not nieces) . They were very popular back in the 90′s especially in Europe.

Umm, where are the artists who Michael Jackson had a direct influence on such as Ciara, Usher, Justin Timberlake, Bruno Mars, Ne-Yo, Chris Brown, New Edition, Madonna and his sisters and brothers, this list is more embarrassing than the Aaliyah tribute list, only Kelly Rowland, like WTF?!?!, what about Ciara, Amerie, Ashanti, Mya, Kesha Chante and Cassie. I guess Kelly Rowland is aight, but I hate seeing tribute being performed by artists who are gonna be looking like “Why am I up here?”

I was disappointed that they didn’t take the best michael jackson impersonator & put him with the original this is it tour & do the Tour
Michael would have been proud & all that hard work of all those involved would not have been wasted & the fans would have been thrilled to still see the show
they were already well practiced & had the dates & tickets sold
of course we would know it wasn’t michael performing but it would have been a better tribute than what they are trying to do now
& also why aren’t the rest of the jackson 5 doing somet type of performance as part of this existing tribute
Michael was an amazing artist & he will be missed
