For all the rightful critique we level at Mr Derulo’s performances, his musical offerings -truth be told- aren’t half bad. A point drilled home further with this his latest effort. Is it groundbreaking? No. Yet, what Forever 21 does serve up with this is a wholly radio-ready midtempo – which neither riles nor offends. If anything, the lack of discernible auto-tune (a staple on one too many of his songs) is somewhat refreshing.
Still, it begs the question: with Chris Brown back in full swing, does Jason pose a legitimate chart threat. Or can they co-exist?

Honestly, this is not a bad song, but he really can’t sing at all.His voice really destroys the song for me.Even a half-decent American Idol bootcamp singer could pull this song off, but he can’t.
And the fact that he thinks he’s SOOO good kills me : ‘Future History’, “you’re more important than a Grammy Award”.SIT

Oh COME on……jason has had a number one on the U.S. hot 100 and also a top ten there with “watcha say” and “in my head”, along with the succesful singles in the UK. ALSO, his single from his new album, “Dont Wanna Go Home” peaked at number 14 in the u.s. which is pretty damn good as well.

I hate when people do that, they try and put chris, usher, and other dancers on a pedestal calling them original when really they ARENT. Jason is a cool dancer, may not be as good as others but he’s still a good one. Dont compare him to chris, usher, etc when it comes to the dancing department. It’s not a crime to dance that way.
Also, the UK does not just buy anything. His music is just popular there. Jason was not just at the top of the charts there, many other countries bought his music, and he got success in those countries (ireland, canada) as well.
Also, Jason did not have to make a comeback. He’s already been popular, and he has the potential to keep up with chris, his first singles’ success proves that so……
