Great Video, not suppose to be a “fun” video or some complex video. This is how a grown-ass woman does a video. didn’t need a dance routine, didn’t need a story line. And as for IASF, I dunno if that album was ahead of it’s time or something, but I just couldn’t get into it like that. Way too much going on with that album.

The one thing that baffles me is this, if you believe to the core of your being that Beyonce is a flop/ a “has-been”/irrelevant, what are you doing watching her video’s, listening to her music, commenting on posts about her. I also think it’s a good thing the clip doesnt have a specific storyline. The lyrics are infinitely abstract. A plot would be too 1-dimensional IMO. A video like this captures so many of little potent moments. The element of water and the tears are basic necessities for this song. I imagine that kind of purity & transparency when i listen to the song.

Artistically creative! Would have worked better for Speechless from her first solo cd. Was to sexual and not intimate enough for the 1+1 song. There are spurts of intimacy, but the video could have been a lot better. It was more s** than anything and the 1+1 song seems to be less about s** and more about a soul connection that makes one’s world better.
