Given the moonwalks, hat poses and the like, it’s safe to say Forever 21 isn’t letting the MJ thing go. As for the rest of the clip,it’s neither groundbreaking nor offensive – much like Derulo’s career to date. Decent effort.

nice concept. nothing special. it just didn’t go there for me. the story wasn’t told and there could have been a story. too many pointless fashion shots in the video. could have had a story, but chose to do the singing/dancing in a field and in front of the house. i hate his falsettos, they never sound good. but he really came out at the wrong time. solo males were needed in 07but maybe he might take off. who knows.

Jason Derulo is one amongst many artists including Chris Brown, Usher, and Ne-Yo whom show heavy influences by Michael Jackson. When it comes to making it unique, none of them are that far ahead than Jason.
