With 219,000 copies sold in the last US chart week, the Rap album remains at #1 for a second week further cementing its status as the highest selling album of its genre this year.
At #2 is Adele with ‘21′, which continues to average around the 100,000 sold per week figure. Moving 120,000 units this week it resides four chart positions above Jay Z and Kanye West‘s ‘Watch The Throne‘.
In at #9 is ’4′ by Beyonce with total sales this week of 25,000 units.

I didn’t diss her as a person and of course you as a fan will be proud. For every opinion there is another side so while you are happy and she has nothing to prove I consider those numbers weak for.
Everyone has an album that doesn’t do so well, that’s honesty not ignorance, and she has put a lot of effort into promotion and performance. With a child on the way however she can relax, focus on her baby, and let 4 go (unless you think there’ll be more promotion on the way).

I see where you’re coming from. I like a lot of underground artists and unusual genres so I understand talent and beautiful music do not always fulfill album sales. It’s 50/50, sometimes it does. Sometimes it doesn’t. If Beyonce is happy with the album, cool, that is what artists should aim for. To provide the best music for fans. If the fans are happy that’s great too. Personally I don’t care too much about numbers one way, still I can’t lie and say I’m not surprised by the numbers this album is pulling in. To be honest Beyonce fans seem to talk about numbers more than anyone since the numbers are usually on their side hence my opinion.

i don’t even mess with Lil wayne like that but,you retards talking about birdman bought albums… that just sounds crazy. Yall have no proof birdman bought those albums. Its proven that artists sell the most their first week. Watch the throne sold 400k+ its first week and then the second week was down to 100k+. Thats a 75% drop but yet you didnt say anything about their albums being bought. Lady Gaga sold a milli her first week and then 100k+ her second. She had a 90% drop but no one claims her albums were bought.
If you had actual proof that birdman bought albums id agree with you on what you were saying but you have none. And even still, If wayne wouldve sold 500k his second week, you wouldve said birdman was still buying albums, he does 200k, apparently birdman bought albums. The only way it seems like you would be happy is if wayne flopped.
Now dont get me wrong. I bought the album and it is NOT a classic. I was highly disappointed with C4 but there are some artists who build fanbases that are that damn loyal. Eminem said Relapse was a terrible album and even a lot of his fans agree but his fans still went out and bought it. He has a loyal fanbase. Look at the sold out shows that wayne does. His tours SELL.OUT. Wayne has built up close to an eminem type fanbase to where they are going to buy his stuff no matter what. So unless you have proof birdman bought those albums, then yall argument has no legs to stand on.

It doesn’t make any sense to say Baby brought his albums. Yes his last two albums before TC4 flopped first week but weren’t those two albums Rebirth and I Am Not A Human Being? Wasn’t that his rock shit that nobody was really checking for? Of course it flopped because it wasn’t the Wayne people were here for. TC3 sold a million in the first week and now this one did…why??? Bey doesn’t really care about sales with this album she’s already said that even before the album came out. I love it for the great music. Anyway, Love On Top in Australia is at no.21 on the itunes chart with little radio airplay. I can see it becoming a hit here. People are really liking it. I love Watch The Throne.
Don’t understand why Adele and Lil Wayne are selling so much.
