You can expect to see more and more of rising rap star J. Cole on the promo rounds as the date for his debut LP ‘Cole Word: The Sideline Story’ draws nearer. Seems fans ‘can’t get enough’ of the Roc rapper as anticipation for his September 27th released studio effort builds.
And while Cole has most recently made headlines for his appearance in the October issue of GQ magazine and newly released Trey Songz-assisted ‘Can’t Get Enough’ video, there’s another alleged video that’s recently landed him in headlines as well – featuring none other that ‘Can’t Get Enough’ co-star/cameo Rihanna.
To address that rumor, as well as others, Cole dropped by MTV’s Sucker Free to share the scoop. Find out his thoughts after the jump:

It would not have been out the day it was discovered. Whom ever had the tape wanted money and TMZ was one of the sites after seeing the tape turned it down.

Plus i think a publicist leaked sextape rumours to start some buzz around jcole(not to say his doesnt already have buzz) but as some of yall may already know hollywood relationships get people talking especially for a new artist , remember how everybody thought Jay and Rihanna were sleeping together and then suddenly rihanna came out with a new image and sound .All that stuff was for publicity a former roc nation publicist admitted to starting that rumour.

I don’t believe it unless there’s proof. Gossip sites are always bullshitting when it’s a slow news day and they need attention. Tape would have come out by now and the footage would be all over the net. Look at Alicia Keys and Swiss Beatz.

Well, I NEVER believed that rumor about the s** tape because originated from M** and Lord knows they LIE their asses off. I can’t believe it spread so quick and people are STILL talking about it! I know there are things such as ceast & desist orders, but I really think that if there was a s** tape with Rih it would have been out by now. I don’t doubt however that he smashed ole girl though cause she does come off extremely easy! J/S
I don’t understand how people can say that he is cocky or that somehow he is trying to use this to his advantage! He was clearly just answering the questions that he was asked! His album comes out in a few weeks, he’s gonna be doing interviews and they are gonna ask him about it! He was laughing it off cause it’s probably that absurd to him. He didn’t even mention Rihanna’s name! Geez!
I’m so hoping all this buzz will help his album sales though! I wish he had released some better singles but I still think he has enough buzz to make a good debut! I guess we shall see!

TMZ did NOT claim that ‘they’ had a Usher s** tape, TMZ said they had been contacted by someone who claimed that they had a Usher/Tameka s** tape and that they were shopping it around. They said they saw images from the s** tape and could confirm that it was Usher. They also said that there was a ceast & desist order issued out by Usher & Tameka. There would be no need for a ceast and desist order if it there was no tape.
TMZ has reported several times about being contacted about celebrity s** tapes, and they review them first to make sure it is legit before they report on it. TMZ is NOT a gossip site, so they wouldn’t just make s*** up! The site is run by a lawyer for Christ sakes!
Tameka also confirmed on her twitter page that it existed because she said it shouldn’t surprise anyone to see her having s** with her husband. Why would she say that if it weren’t true?
Just because it hasn’t come out YET, doesn’t mean it doesn’t exist! It may come out, it may never come out.
I think J. Cole is a stand up guy and wouldn’t REALLY have a sextape with rihanna. But I do agree with LOL and this is probably just for publicity because his album will be releasing soon, which i personally cannot wait for it.
