Jessie Gives 1st TV Performance Of ‘Domino’

Published: Monday 19th Sep 2011 by Sam

Pop belter Jessie J isn’t letting an injured leg hold her down. The 23 year old took centre-stage at the SWR3 Pop Festival in Germany over the weekend, where she gave the first televised performance of new single ‘Domino’.

Check out Ms. Cornish in action below…

Though a Katy Perry cut by way of composition, melody, and hook, any further comparisons are dissolved when marvelling at J’s immense vocal delivery. Great performance.

    She has a great voice (I wish she could go back to her non-oversinging days, though), but the beat is shockingly similar to the whole ‘Teenage Dream’ album.I don’t know if she’s found her lane tbh and imo this song could actually be a step in the wrong direction.

    Sounds like she struggled with this one, espesh on chorus. sounds tooo Katy Perry :I

    I WISH SHE WOULD TONE DOWN HER IMAGE, AND SINGING. I DO NOT CARE FOR THE SONG AND I HOPE THIS ISN’T THE DIRECTION SHE’S GOING IN….

    Good performance! Besides the 1st chorus.
    This song will put her worldwide I think.

    i think this is a good song for her….i think its her versatility as a writer which makes her such a universal artist. I don’t think this is the direction she is moving in. It reminds me of how ‘do it like a dude’ was mainstream but the rest of the album wasn’t : )

    jessie j is a beast….glad she is back on her feet (literally) lol

    follow me @blairdevereaux

    @B_Standing and Loving Adele:

    This outfit she has on is by far the most conservative things I’ve seen her wear since she released “Do It Like a Dude” however long ago that was. So I am very pleased with what she has on here.

    On to the performance, it’s not a performance that would make you feel one way or another about Jessie. No loss, no gain. But I think the song will do relatively well on radio.

    Great performance. I feel the song is a mix between Katy Perry’s Califorinia Gurls and Last Friday Night. Not my type of song, but it is helping her become more mainstream.

    Actually she performed this at the vma’s, but they didn’t air it. But i saw it ^.^

    I push forward looking at this performance. It’s not bad at all but it just doesn’t stuck in my head as her previous releases did.. It’s a pity she’s releasing this as a single. I know it’s for a rerelease, but i don’t really think Who You Are needs a re-release.. she just has to make a new album to show the world she can do it even better..
