After achieving blockbuster first week sales from his latest album ‘The Carter IV’, Rap sensation Lil Wayne would have woken to more good news today with regards to this year’s BET Hip Hop Awards.
For the entertainer has scored a whopping 18 nominations, which include nods in the categories of Lyricist Of The Year and Best Live Performer.

Hosted by comedian Mike Epps, this year’s ceremony is also set to see the likes of Big Sean and Nicki Minaj in attendance, who is the only female to score any nominations this year thanks to her now Platinum LP ‘Pink Friday’.
With 9 nominations each are Rappers Kanye West and Wiz Khalifa who like Wayne are up for the MVP Of The Year Award in which Minaj is also nominated in.
