Fox’s much hyped British import has finally kicked off on American soil and looks set to be the biggest show of its kind.
Featuring judges Simon Cowell, Paula Abdul, LA Reid and Nicole Scherzinger, the show favours American Idol with its nationwide auditions. However, there is a defining twist in that groups and solo acts over 25’s are eligible to enter.
Unsurprisingly, with this being the audition phase, the talented and talent-challenged came out in equal measure for a crack at progressing to the next stage.

i wish nicole was as nice as she was in UK xfactor, but still shes better than all the other judges!
I can hardly refrain form using expletives to express my disappointment at not finding Josh’s performance “At Last”. It is the only audition I woke up remembering; the strongest by far of all of them. Why is it not featured among the others? Now I have to go look somewhere else!
My fave was 4shore. I would have said no to Elaine as well…..her voice was just annoying.
