Christina Milian Lands A Spot On ‘The Voice’

Published: Thursday 27th Oct 2011 by Sam

We certainly cannot knock Christina Milian‘s hustle.

For, with it being years since she last scored a hit of any variety, the talent singer stays getting work. Case, point, example, her appointment on the upcoming  series of ‘The Voice’.

More on her role after the jump…

NBC announced today that the ‘Dip It Low’ singer will serve as the official Social Media Correspondent for the hit talent search.

The role (previously eld by Alison Haislip) will see Milian make regular appearances during the live broadcasts. Sh will also interact with fans through Facebook, Twitter, NBC.com and NBC Live. Tweets from fans who use #TheVoice hashtag will also be show at the bottom of the screen during live shows.

Speaking on why they enlisted Milian, Paul Telegdy, President, Alternative and Late Night Programming at NBC said:

“Christina’s extensive musical background and widespread recognition make her the perfect choice for the role of Social Media Correspondent on ‘The Voice’. Her experience as a singer will provide a comfort level to our artists when they speak to her about the ins and outs of the competition. She is a hugely valuable addition as we prepare for another spectacular season.”

Season 2 of ‘The Voice’ kicks off February 5th 2012 in quite spectacular fashion. For, it’ll air immediately following Super Bowl XLVI, with it also airing on its usual day and time the following night, February 6th at 8 pm.

Kudos to Christina. Hopefully, this provides the platform she’s so needed to re-establish her music career. I mean, she may not be the most gifted vocalist, but she definitely presents the full package (in that she can sing, dance, act, and has ‘presence’). Besides, I’m fed up of having to keep pressing ‘repeat’ on the ever-infectious ‘Zipper’. Bring on that new material already!

“Christina’s…widespread recognition make her the perfect choice for the role of Social Media Correspondent on ‘The Voice’.”

…what BS, I doubt the US audience knows Christina anymore than they knew the other random person they had last time…but at least she is making money, so big-ups to her.

Yessss for C.Milli making that money cause her last album So Amazin was an awesone underated album that enjoyed from beginning to end…this may be the platform she needs and once she has the appropriate marketing team she can do it again…I have all her albums and leaked stuff she does have an ear for hot s*** lol

Good 4 her. It’s not a particularly difficult part and she can get some shine. It’s good that she wants to take it slow becuase her career has been a non-starter, so this one could be a much needed start from scratch 🙂

Good for her. I like Christina, though it’s obvious as hell that X-tina got her this job. Guess she got sick of hearing this b**** complain about her broke people problems.

How she keeps getting these great gigs i don’t know. Her music career hasn’t blasted off the way it should or could have. Just when you think she’s gonna chill, here she comes with another job. Congrats to her for that. But there are other that could have done this job a great service.

This b**** can’t sing for s***! Her tone is so chidish and annoying and her vocal range is limited. And she can dance???? Please show me one video of her dancing her ass off? All she can do is skanky stripper moves. And she can act? Um…. all those times I saw her in movies, I could tell she was acting! She needs to give it up and find somethin\g better to do. She already ruined her life by getting knocked up by someone who didn’t really give a damn about her and is getting a lot of money in child support in it. She should just stick with that.
