The guardian blasted her antics on this tour. At some point I really used to love this girl. But then it occurred to me she has no interest in getting better at her craft at all, but just sexing every thing up and putting out recycled garbage. These days I dont support her anymore. @ BETH thank you for repeating what I have been saying. she has never received good reviews from critics, always a bashing or some shade from some article. I used to support her hoping for improvement but instead of working on her self or asking her team to do so she has a clashing album. Her ticket sales were so strong that she made Pollstar’s top 100 North American tours mid-year report list after only having toured in the US for ONE month. Loud tour kicked off 6/4/11. Loud tour grossed 10M by 6/30/11. So, how the f*** were most of the tickets discounted! I’ll wait . . .

It’s called Average price for a reason. Meaning if ten thousand tickets were bought at a higher price by die hard fans, and they gave away the other 20,000 tickets, the average will be high. Focus on the number of tickets sold. lady Gaga has sold almost 700,000 tickets while Rihanna who has been in the business six years has only sold, 148,000 tickets. And you forgot to mention that Rihanna is all the way down in the list.

If she grossed 10M in one month in North America, and she played to either 20K or fewer people,at fewer than 20 dates between 6/4- and 6/30/11, (when that list came out), then there’s no way in the hell that most of the tickets were discounted.

Ummmm yeahh about 20 of my friends went to the loud show in philly and they all got free tickets and turn on your local radio stations they give away rihanna tickets DAILY .. by no means is rihanna a hot seller when it comes to tours and I actually don’t mind her music its mindless fun .. Radio stations with daily concert ticket give-aways don’t mean s*** about the overall gross! A “sold out” show is one where over 90-95% of the tickets are sold. If Rihanna plays to a crowd of 15K and sells 90% of the tickets, then there would still be 1500 tickets left over.
