Just days before the ‘Michael Jackson Forever’ tribute concert, which will see the likes of Christina Aguilera and Beyonce take to the stage, a brand new album from the King of Pop has been announced.
Aptly titled ‘Immortal‘, the LP is in support of and serves as the soundtrack for ‘Cirque du Soleil’s Michael Jackson The Immortal World Tour’.

Released by the Jackson Estate and Epic Records, the ‘Immortal’ album will become available to fans on November 21st, and includes reworked versions and mash ups of some of the performer’s greatest hits, produced under the creative guidance of Kevin Antunes.
Though some Jackson fans may find the release of a posthumous album distasteful, the fact that the release has been approved and will be co-released by his estate may serve as some solace to some sects of his fan base who feel his death continues to be exploited.
Used to line the pockets of people who may not have had his best wishes at heart.
Either way, with Rihanna and Mary J.Blige both releasing albums on the same day, it will be very interesting to see how their respective projects fare when up against this one.

I don’t support whatever the fuck was released after he died ! Cuz it is the same anymore ! I don’t feel the ” MJ sophistication” in those projects ! Even the album art up there is so cheap and tired ! Not artistic at all !!
That is not a REAL mj album , I’m so sorry !! I have the ” Michael” album and I am NOT HAPPY that I bought it ! Most songs sounded like it wasn’t even finished !!! I don’t think mj would not have let this happen .

I hope the Cirque du Soleil’s Michael Jackson The Immortal World Tour’ eventually retires to Vegas after it tours. I woud love to visit Vegas and see this show. Two of my favorite acts MJ & Cirque du Soleli togther. I know it simply slays….
As for the CD release wars…postmortem the other two just might win! Prior to his paassing both tired, broken down and delayed ‘hoes’ wouldn’t have a pray in hell of surpassing MJ’s 1st week record sells!
